12 until noon 5pm When they are not working, they spend their summer in a beautiful meadow in Wales, surrounded by a Woodland Trust wood, while in the winter they are housed in a large, warm barn. When they are working, however, like all donkeys they love the attention they receive, and a healthy, working donkey is a very happy donkey indeed. Come along and see the donkeys!! Ferret racing has been held at country shows and fetes for many years and has proven to be very popular at such events. It gives everyone a chance to participate in our displays by having a small flutter on the outcome of the race, eventually by being both either winners if their ferret comes first or helping contribute dona- tions to charity and animal welfare if they lose! The four accomplished, Bristol-bred musicians, all of whom cut their teeth in notable, original bands of the 80s and 90s, understand how to create an exhilarating vibe at their gigs. Hooper’s energy and commitment to musicality can make you feel like you’re at Wembley, with the charisma and undeniable chemistry (three are brothers after all) to keep things personal enough to party like you’re in your own front room. Hooper isn’t afraid to smash the boundaries of music and deliver it with a confidence and energy that will give you a night to remember. John is the founding member of the band and has been play- ing bass for many years with a number of bands in and around the Bristol area. Rick's bluesy chords and riffs, with the occasional country influence, provide wonderful rhythm and texture to the band's sound. Patrick has recently joined the band and brings with him a wealth of experience, having played drums for many years with a number of bands. Adrian is an accomplished pianist, accordion player and bassist. His long standing love of reggae can be heard through his subtle use of chords and melodies. Lorna's enchanting and emotionally engaging stage presence en- sures that her audience feel part of every performance. After working as a rehearsal pianist for various ballet schools in London, Ben currently works as a pianist and Musical Director for theatre productions and has performed at the Bristol Old Vic, the Tobacco Factory and the Bristol Hippodrome. For most ska fans 1980 had to be the year. The music of The Specials along with Madness, The Beat, The Selecter and Bad Manners were the sounds on your radio. Britain was a bleak place back then, and the music that brightened those days were sounds of the great 2 Tone bands. It didn’t matter who you were or where you came from, it was a movement that united people and it continues to this day! Every generation a band comes along, a band that makes you forget about all that is wrong with world, a band that makes you stand up and throw your hands in the air. They have been bringing their unique blend of 2 tone ska hits to the masses since 2009. This gathering brought together a crew of 7 first class musicians with a calibre that is second to none, and a combined number of gigs literally in the thousands. The band have played and collaborated with the likes of Roddy Radiation of The Specials, and have shared a stage with 2 Tone legends The Selecter and Bad Manners! Since the band have been touring the country playing their unique style of two toned in- spired hits, they have played a string of sell out shows, headlined a string of festivals and have left thousands of people breathless and shouting for more. 2 Rude have rightly claimed their title as one of the hottest live acts in the country!
