The final agenda will be included in the conference book in print. Please consider the environment before printing. INFORMATION PACKAGE INFORMATION PACKAGE Arrival - Transportation You may get to Macau in the following three ways: 1) From Hong Kong Airport; 2) From Macau Airport; 3) From Hong Kong City; 1. Go from Hong Kong Airport Arriving at Hong Kong Airport and getting to Macau by the Ferry. Hong Kong Airport - Get off the plane and head towards the Transit Lounge and ‘Macau and Mainland Ferries’. (Don’t go through immigration which is on your left as you come into the transit lounge.) - If you have hold luggage, there is no need to pick it up. (When you buy a ferry ticket, you should show your airplane boarding check to the staff and he or she will transfer your Checked Baggage to the ferry you’ll board) - In the Transit Lounge you can buy ferry tickets (if you can’t see the ticket counter anyone will direct you). You want the ferries at the further end of the counter towards the small cafe rather than the first few counters counter which is to China and the line is usually busy. - At the ferry ticket counter. There are two ferry companies that go to Macau. Turbo Jet (red) at Cotai Water Jet (blue) at 11:00, 13:15, 17:00, 22:00 12:15, 14:15, 16:15, 19:00, 21:00 INFORMATION PACKAGE - Buy your ticket (you cannot purchase the ticket before arriving in Hong Kong) and if you have Hold luggage then give them the luggage receipt and they will get it and put it on the ferry and you can collect it when you get to Macau. - There are two classes of Tickets. Standard and Superclass. - The difference is not that much in cost. Super class you get to go upstairs and have nicer seats and a small snack meal. The main benefit of this class is that you get to get off the ferry first – this can be a good thing if the ferry is busy as you get to the immigration desks in Macau before the rest of the passengers. - There are two ferry ports in Macau – ‘Macau (Outer Harbour) and Macau (Taipa)’ Either of which is fine.
