Consultancies, Legal Audits and Legislative Drafting July 2016 Rural Electrification Authority Conducted a comprehensive legal audit of the Authority’s departments and prepared a template for each department to assess its level of compliance with the specific laws applicable to each department and to also assess it level of exposure to risk as a result of non compliance. 2013 - 2014 Privatisation Commission of Kenya Reviewed the legal and regulatory framework for privatization in Kenya, examined the coherency of the Privatization Act with the Constitution and other related laws, assessed the effect of the Public Private Partnerships Act on the functions of the Commission and drafted amendments to the Privatization Act (No. 2 of 2005) and assessed the best practices in Europe and Asia to borrow from in order to mitigate the risks, implications and challenges that may arise during repeal of the Act.
