This can be found in the next couple of pages. o ANY apparel using the AFL logo, AFL Queensland logo or AFL Queensland Q-Shield must be produced by a Preferred Supplier. A full list of preferred suppliers can be found in the next couple of pages. • Measurements and sizing of logos has been provided as a guideline. Whilst we understand that garments will vary in size, we encourage suppliers and designers to adhere to these measurements as best as possible. If you have concerns about sizing, please contact AFL Queensland. • If you require any of the logos contained in this document, please contact your Competition Manager. AFL Queensland © 2019 AFL QUEENSLAND – ON-FIELD APPAREL GUIDELINES – NOVEMBER 2019 IMPORTANT NOTES SPECIAL EVENT JUMPER GUIDELINES From time to time, there will be a need for Clubs to create special event jumpers (eg. Celebrating Indigenous or Multicultural Round, or a specific Club Charity Round). The following guidelines have been put together for Clubs and Suppliers to follow in the event of a Special Jumper Design. ALL existing on-field apparel guidelines still apply Clubs can add up to TWO additional logos on the back of their jumpers, in support of the charity or to raise additional funds through sponsorship. Clubs can also change the overall design of their jumpers for the specific event. ALL artwork will still need to be approved by AFL Queensland. SENIOR JUMPER SIZES JUNIOR JUMPER SIZES EXISTING LOGOS 23 EXISTING LOGOS 23 ADDITIONAL LOGOS FOR ADDITIONAL LOGOS FOR SPECIAL EVENT JUMPERS SPECIAL EVENT JUMPERS SIZE: 125mm WIDE per logo SIZE: 100mm WIDE per logo PLACEMENT: At least 10mm PLACEMENT: At least 10mm below Existing Logo below Existing Logo AFL Queensland © 2019 AFL QUEENSLAND – ON-FIELD APPAREL GUIDELINES – NOVEMBER 2019 IMPORTANT NOTES OFF-FIELD APPAREL GUIDELINES • Any off-field apparel that includes the AFL logo, AFL Queensland logo or AFL Queensland Q-Shield must still follow the AFL Queensland Approvals Process. • Any garment to display the AFL logo, AFL Queensland logo or AFL Queensland Q-Shield must be sourced from an AFL Queensland Licensed Supplier – this includes Caps, T-Shirts/Polos and Tracksuit Tops and Bottoms. • For Community Competitions, there is no restriction on the number of sponsor logos Clubs can place on their off-field apparel. • For Regional Talent Programs, there can be: • one logo underneath the TALENT Q-Shield on the front (85mm wide) • Two logos on the back (one above the number and one below) (as per on-field size guidelines) • One logo on the LEFT sleeve (70mm wide) • For State Teams, off-field apparel must only contain the Supplier and Pathway Sponsor Logo (eg. NAB and BOND University for the Female State Teams). AFL Queensland © 2019 AFL QUEENSLAND – ON-FIELD APPAREL GUIDELINES – NOVEMBER 2019 IMPORTANT NOTES APPROVAL PROCESS AFL Queensland has put together this Approvals Process to ensure the AFL brand integrity, and to maintain a professional and consistent image of the Code of Australian Football, AFL Queensland and associated Talent Pathways and Leagues/Competitions. This approval process relates to ANY garment produced which contains the AFL logo, AFL Queensland logo or AFL Queensland Q-Shield. Request for Jumpers A request for a jumper order will come to an AFL Queensland Licensed Supplier via AFL Queensland or a Community Club Jumper Design The AFLQ Licensed Supplier will create a jumper design Design Approval Additional Approval The completed design is sent to the AFL Queensland Competition If additional approval is required, the AFL Queensland Competition Manager or AFL Queensland Talent Manager for approval Manager or Talent Manager will refer the design on for additional approval Design is Approved by AFLQ AFL Queensland approves the design. Supplier can circulate to the Club for their approval, but any changes must come back through AFL Queensland for final approval.
