STREAKS: The Cavs’ eight-game winnin g streak from Nov. 24-Dec. 9 was th eir longest since March 2010 (also eight games). Cleveland’s six straight wins at The Q from Nov. 24 - Dec. 15 was their longest since an 11-game ho me winnin g streak f rom Feb. 23-Apr. 6, 2010.

ASSISTS MEN: In the Dec. 21 win over Memphis, Kyrie Irving (17 pts/11 asts) and LeBron James (25 pts/11 asts) became the first Cavs duo to register points -assists double- doubles since April 6, 2010 vs. Toronto (James 19/13, Mo Williams 14/12). MIKEY ON FIRE: In his first start of the season on Dec. 19 against Brooklyn, Mike Miller finis hed with a season-high 21 points on 7-8 (.875) shooting from three-po int range in 34 minutes. It was Miller’s highest career three-point perc entage when hittin g at least seven triples in a single game. The last Cavalier to make at least seven three-pointers and miss one triple was D aniel Gibson (7-8 vs . Utah on 12/20/10), while the last NBA player to do it w as Kevin Love (8 -9 vs. SAS on 12/13/13). Miller’s 21 points were also the most points scored by a Cavalier on all three-pointers (J.R. Three Cavaliers pulled down at least 12 rebounds in the win (Love -14, Varejao-14, Thompson-12), which was the first time that has happened since Jan. 3 , 1984 against Milwaukee (Jeff Cook-12, P aul Thompson-13, Lonnie Shelton-12). CANTON CHARGE UPDATE: The Canton Charge, the NBA Development Leagu e team o wned and operated by th e Cleveland Cavaliers, pres ented by SecureData 365, improved to 14-13 after topping the visiting Erie BayHaw ks (10-17), 104-82, in front of 3.197 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center on Saturday night. DAY: The Cleveland C avaliers 11th annual Black Heritage Celebration ( BHC) tipped off on Martin Luther King Jr. D ay— Monday, January 19th at the C avs vs. Chic ago Bulls game at Quic ken Loans Arena. On e Gen eration to the N ext," started with the team remembering Dr. King, the pastor, activist and humanitarian who led the African American civil rights movemen t.
