In his first acting assignment, Farhan Akhtar is splendidly in form as a bit of a jerk. He plays a production controller who can get a film crew anything they want -- from a monkey performing tricks to an exotic fakir performing monkey tricks. Jhansi, who acted in the show “”, was found hanging in her room in an apartment building on Wednesday. A failed love affair is the al- leged reason behind her suicide. In December 2017, Telugu film comedian K. Vijay Sai, 38, was found dead in an apartment. In a selfie video recorded before the suicide, the actor blamed his wife for the extreme action, reports had said. Just last year, Telugu news anchor V. Radhika Reddy committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of her apartment building. A suicide note writ- ten in Telugu was found in her handbag. She wrote that her brain was her enemy and that nobody was responsible for her death. Back in 2014, the news of actor Uday Kiran’s sui- cide had left the industry in shock. His decision to take his own life had driven celebrities like Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore, Kiccha Sudeep and Khush- bu Sundar to raise questions like; “Shouldn’t we find reasons to live?” and “What he must’ve gone through to take such a step? Cruel pressure.” In Bollywood, celebrities have been very vocal about mental health issues in the recent past. Actress Deepika Padukone spearheads a Foun- dation which she founded in 2015 with the aim to tackle the stigma around mental health issues. www.WeeklyVoice.com Bollywood Friday, February 15, 2019 | B-9

The 2019 Canadian Interna- tional Auto Show (CIAS) has just kicked off, and is packed with more exciting vehicles and dis- plays than ever. Here are just five of our favorite things at this years auto show: 1- Devel Sixteen: The United Arab Emirates is known for a lot of things – e.g. great buildings, shopping, gold, etc. - and while this wealthy region is no stranger to supercars prowling its streets, it has never built any of them; un- til now! Meet the Devel Sixteen, and not only is it the first supercar LEGO® TECHNIC Bugatti Chiron built in Dubai, it also aims to be the fastest production car ever made! To accomplish this feat, the Devel Sixteen will be powered by a quad-turbo, V16 motor, that is said to be good for 5007 horsepower. How fast will it go? That no one knows just yet, but the ‘mid-level’ 3000 horsepower variant is said to surpass 500 km/h, so one can only imagine what the Devel can achieve with the full 5007 horsepower variant. For the time being, the De- vel Sixteen is still in develop- ment, but those interested in this $3-million supercar can contact the manufacturer and put their name down for one.
