Casey Haerther went 7-for-7 in UCLA’s 20-8 win at then-No. 6 Arizona on March 29 at Jerry Kindall Field. The hitting performance by Haerther, a sophomore first baseman from Chatsworth, Calif., not only set records at UCLA, but also in the Pac-10 Conference. By game’s end, he had posted more than a few memorable numbers.
