DAY 6 THE HAGUE – AMSTERDAM (Breakfast/Lunch) Today, not to be missed is a visit to Madurodam, a miniature park and tourist attraction in the Scheveningen district of The Hague. It is home to a range of 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks, historical cities and large developments. Thereafter return to Amsterdam. Tour Heineken Experience, a historic brewery and corporate visitor centre situated on the grounds of the former brewery for the internationally distributed Dutch pilsner, Heineken beer. Enjoy an interactive tour to learn more about the history behind one of the world’s most reowned beer brands and have a taste of the famous Dutch pilsner.

DAY 7 AMSTERDAM – MEDEMBLIK – AMSTERDAM (Breakfast/Dinner) This morning, you may choose to take an optional journey to the serene and peaceful water village of Giethoorn in the east of the Netherlands. Surrounded by verdant greenery and tranquil waterways, this picturesque village is best explored on foot. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the narrow paths to view the idyllic beauty of the thatched- roof farmhouses and quaint wooden bridges in this scenic village. Then, experience a moving museum onboard an old-fashioned steam tram ride that will take you on a journey across the scenic countryside from Medemblik to Hoorn. The rustic charm of the creaky wooden boards, engine whistles, hissing steam and gorgeous surrounding bulb fields will delight both the young and old. Later that afternoon, head back to Amsterdam.

DAY 8 AMSTERDAM (Breakfast/Dinner) After breakfast, enjoy a leisure canal cruise. Relax onboard a glass-domed motor launch cruising down canals flanked by gabled houses. Next, be dazzled by the diamond house in Amsterdam where you may learn more about the various facets behind the bedazzling diamonds and see master diamond craftsmen at work. Next, proceed to Zaanse Schans, a quaint Dutch village dotted with well-preserved and colourful windmills and cottages. If there is one photo spot that evokes all the icons of Dutch culture in all its picturesque glory, this will be it. Next, visit a cheese farm and witness a wooden clog-making demonstration, probably the most well known of traditional Dutch crafts. Thereafter, return to Amsterdam and spend some time at leisure where you may continue taking photos while sightseeing or shopping.

DAY 9 AMSTERDAM – SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals on Board) Today, visit the tulip fields of Keukenhof, the most beautiful spring garden in the world. Be mesmerized by the rainbow-coloured and fragrance of over seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths planted across a 70-acre site. If time permits, enjoy a last-minute shopping before transferring to the airport for your flight home. Note Keukenhof is open from 23 March until 21 May 2017. Admission will only be provided during the season of the flowers. For tour group departures from 22 May 2017, Day 9 will be a free and easy day.
