District Magistrate, Collector and District Magistrate within their respective jurisdiction in case of candidates claiming to be Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and ordinarily residing within such jurisdiction ii) Director /Deputy Director, SC & Tribes Welfare, W.B. in case of candidates claiming to be SC/ST residing in any part of W.B. **[Instructions for Differently Able (D.A.)/ Physically Handicapped(P.H.) candidates]: A candidate seeking admission against reservation under Differently Able (D.A.) / Physically Handicapped(P.H.) category, must have to submit the self attested photo-copy of the certificate in proof of his/her disability along with the Application Form. The certificate must be valid in all respects and to be issued by an the extent of Physical Disability of the candidate must not be below 40%. Candidates who claim reservation against such quota must have to appear personally along with all the Supporting documents in original 10.07.2017 on at 12.00 noon at the Office of the Inspector of Colleges, Kazi Nazrul University to legitimate his/her claim for admission under this category. If any candidate fails to turn up before the Inspector of Colleges on the stipulated date and time he/she will not be able to claim reservation under such category and the candidate will be treated as a candidate belongs to General category. If no candidate is found suitable under this category, the seat will be converted automatically to General Category. Mode of Selection for Admission: The selection for admission to the course shall be made strictly on the merit basis. There shall be no counselling for admission. At the time of submission of the application form, all the candidates have to exercise their options with regard to the choice of place of studies mandatorily in the column printed in the application form. Options regarding place of studies once exercised cannot be altered afterwards. The list of selected candidates for admission will be published on the basis of merit and their choice of place of studies. Publication of the merit list: The short merit list of the candidate will be published on 11.07.2017. In case of the uniform score in the concerned Degree, the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in Higher Secondary Examination will be considered and calculated for determining the higher position in the merit list. And if the percentage of Higher Secondary marks appears to be the same, percentage of Secondary Examination will be considered for ranking.
