Position supports the program director in the design of ART 180’s 13-week programs in the community, and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the programs. Manages recruiting, training and supervision of professional artists for school and community center programs. Works with artists to carry out projects that allow for meaningful creative expression by young people in challenging circumstances. Interacts with youth, parents, partners and community members. Procures materials, monitors budgets, and implements program evaluation. Coordinates performances, exhibitions, events and other ways to “tell the story” of ART 180 programs.
