Issues and Interests What is your specific interest in the proceeding? Little Pine First Nation is a member of . Its interest in the regulatory process is to understand the potential for the Project to impact Aboriginal and Treaty rights, and to provide information to the NEB regarding concerns about the Project and traditional land use activities in the Project area. Little Pine First Nation has also been awarded NEB funding to participate in this process. Do you or your authorized representative intend to appear at the public Yes þ No ¨ hearing?

If you do not intend to actively participate at the hearing, please state clearly the reasons why your interest in the proceeding requires an intervention. . Do you feel that your concerns are covered in the List of Issues included in the Hearing Order? If not, provide your suggested issues or amendment to an existing issue. Include a clear explanation of their relevance to the Hearing. 1. Little Pine First Nation submits that Issue #5 should be revised to read as follows: "Potential impacts of the project on Aboriginal interests including socio-economic (such as traditional land use), asserted and proven Aboriginal rights (including Aboriginal title), and treaty rights." Little Pine First Nation submits that this revision is necessary to reflect the nature of Aboriginal issues that may be relevant concerning the Project.
