MAKING SOME BIG PLAYS In recent years, Lehigh’s offensive success has been predicated on its ability to generate big plays, however, through three games, the Mountain Hawks’ longest offensive play from scrimmage covered just 30 yards. Lehigh’s big play attack has come to life over the last seven games with 16 plays that covered 40 yards or more, including seven long touchdown passes to junior Gatlin Casey. Nick Shafni- sky’s 84-yard touchdown pass to Derek Knott against Fordham was Lehigh’s longest play from scrimmage since an 85-yard touchdown pass from JB Clark to Sekou Yansane versus Drake in the 2008 season opener.
