ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 Possess a baccalaureate degree awarded by institutions accredited by agencies that are recognized by the Secretary of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or, for non-U.S. Institutions, an accepted foreign equivalent that is listed in the International Handbook of Universities.  Undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent from an international institution.  Graduate courses with grade of B or higher (on a 4.0 scale) from an Institution as defined above can be considered for transfer. A maximum of 6 credits can be transferred into the master’s level program.  Résumé or Curriculum Vitae (CV)  Successfully complete the Orientation Program Class

Applicants whose Native Language is other than English Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not earned a degree from an appropriately accredited institution where English is the principal language of instruction must demonstrate college-level proficiency in English through one of the following:  Master’s Degree: A minimum score of 530 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT) or 71 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), or 6.5 on the International English Language Test (IELTS) or 50 on the PTE Academic Score Report;  A minimum grade of Level 3 on the ACT COMPASS’s English as a Second Lan- guage Placement Test;  A minimum B1 English proficiency level identified within the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) standards and assessed through various ESOL ex- aminations, including the University of Cambridge;  A minimum grade of Pre-1 on the Eiken English Proficiency Exam;  A transcript indicating completion of at least 30 semester hours of credit with an aver- age grade of “B” or higher at an appropriately accredited/recognized accredited col- lege or university where the language of instruction was English;  A transcript indicating a grade of “B” or higher in an English composition course from an appropriately accredited/recognized college or university.
