ó Charters can be accommodated– contact Van2017 for Information Transport °Teams will be issued with 1 vehicle each. This will likely be 12 seat mini bus with driver. This will be a dedicated vehicle with drivers.

°Shuttle fleet of apx 60 -12 seat /20 seat buses will have continuous shuttles from village/venues and Athletes Centre and if required to Host Hotel.

°Detail Schedules of Pool Transport and their routes will be provided to all teams prior to your arrival for the games in Port Vila.

°Van2017 will not support pick up or drop off at any other Hotel property Host Hotel- Holiday Inn ó 4 star Hotel- 3 min from Korman ó 10,200-12,200 VT (apx 95-115 USD per night for a double including full breakfast and internet. ó Van2017 will offer r0 rooms for up to 18 nights for the first team(s) at 10,200 VT if the rooms are paid for in full to Van2017 by August 01 2017 and booked before June 01. In order to book at this rate a deposit of 25% of the amount needs to be paid to Van2017 at time of booking. If the rooms are cancelled before August 01, then Van2017 will refund the deposit, or will credit it against team per diems as directed by the Teams. Holiday Inn ó The next set rooms will be offered at 12,200 a night. They can booked through Van2017, and will be paid directly to Holiday Inn. All bookings must be paid for 30 days in advance of booking. ó Rooms are limited at this rate. Chef de Mission Briefings ó Will be held each morning as normal practice ó Simultaneous Translation will be available ó Meetings to be held either at Host Hotel or at Athletes Centre Sport Ministers Meeting In keeping with tradition a Sports Ministers Meeting will be held December 03 at the Holiday Inn.

Agendas and invitations will be issued in April. Registration, Accreditation and Results ó Sporting Pulse TG will provide the Athlete Registration/Accreditation and Results system for the Games.

ó Results will be integrated with Van2017 website.

ó Local Results to be Displayed at all Venues

ó Sport Information Desk at the Athletes Centre and at Korman Stadium Broadcast and Streaming Van2017 is working with National Broadcaster of Vanuatu (VBTC) to provide Host Broadcast coverage for the Games. Anticipated that there will be live free streaming for all countries and access to the satellite broadcast for rights holders.

PGA’s are encouraged to get their broadcasters to contact Van2017 about access. Voice of the Athletes ó Van2017 is fully supportive of the VOA program and will provide the space at the Athletes Centre for awareness. ó Van2017 is initiating its own environment program in conjunction with the Government of Vanuatu and will be trying to make efforts to support environmentally sound programs. ie ó For each Medal won at the Games our Gold Sponsor Pacific Energy will be planting a tree– over 110o trees in total Visits ó We welcome any visits by Mission Staff prior to Games. ó Preferred times May-August ó Chef De Mission Meeting in August onsite and virtual Upcoming Registration Deadlines
