Miracle & Deliverance Pat Holliday, Ph.D. http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com GOD MADE HER RICH- BUT JESUS SAYS YOU ARE POOR AND WETCHED. ~ Televangelists Living Like Queens and Kings? says Joyce is the “greatest Teacher of this century! Church- get back to Jesus!

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” – Revelation. 3:17.KJV

So many in the Christian Church have become cold and lukewarm and they have given their minds over to forms of Better Homes and Garden and Disney World Christianity and lifestyles that are just seeking after material things and emotional experiences. Jesus is rarely preached, ( R o m a n s 10:17),

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Revelation 3:17-19 "Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened." Isaiah 48:8 “For what shall it profit a man/woman, if he/she shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36-37 KJV

Joyce Meyer used to travel in this Canadair Challenger 600S; seen here in Sydney, Australia when she was a 'special guest' at the Hillsong Conference in July 2005. It has since been replaced by a Gulfstream IV. 1

Meyer, who owns several expensive homes and travels in a private jet (currently a Gulfstream IV/ 2has been criticized by some of her peers for living an excessive lifestyle.[3] She claims that she doesn't have to defend her spending habits because "there’s no need for us to apologize for being blessed." 3Meyer also alludes to a double standard in the criticism of her lifestyle, saying, "You can be a businessman here in St. Louis, and people think the more you have, the more wonderful it is...but if you’re a preacher, then all of a sudden it becomes a problem." 4

The Bible warns, “Not given to wine, no Joyce Meyer’s 30,000 golden toilet striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but set jet patient, not a brawler, not covetous;” 1 Timothy 3:3 KJV

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Eph 1:13-14 KJV

The Meyer Family Compound Photo by Robert Cohen, St Louis Post Dispatch

Joyce Meyer Ministries bought these 5 homes for Meyer and her family. The Ministry pays all expenses, including landscaping and lawn care, property taxes and rehab work. Meyer, her husband and each of their four married children live in the homes, free of charge.

If worldly wealth was the proof of being the greatest Bible teacher of the century, then Time Magazine and Benny Hinn’s estimate of Meyer’s ministry would be correct. However, the greatest ministry of this century is Jesus Christ.

“Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord.”--- Jeremiah 23:32 KJV

Her way to heaven is wrong! God’s way is the Cross of Jesus!

Joyce Meyer says God has made her rich.

Everything she has came from Him: the $10 million corporate jet, her husband's $107,000 silver-gray Mercedes sedan, her $2 million home and houses worth another $2 million for her four children -- all blessings, she says, straight from the hand of God.

It's been an amazing run, nothing short of a miracle, says Meyer, a one-time bookkeeper http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 3 who heads one of the world's largest television ministries. Her Life in the Word organization expects to take in $95 million this year.

Just look around, she told reporters last month from behind her desk on the third floor of the ministry's corporate offices in Jefferson County.

``Here I am, an ex-housewife from Fenton, with a 12th-grade education,'' she said. ``How could anybody look at this and see anything other than God?”5

This television star (idol) proves that her treasures are on this earth.

Senate Investigation

When the government finishes “investigating” these “New Faith” preachers, their draconian legislation will fall upon every Christian Church in the country. When I ran for the Florida State Legislature in the seventies, “taxation on the sanctuary” was an issue. Get ready church, the abuses and sins of these “get rich preachers” will hurt everyone.

On November 6, 2007, senator of I o w a announced an investigation of Meyer's ministry by the United States Senate Committee on Finance.[23] Grassley asked for the ministry to divulge financial information[24][25] to the committee to determine if Meyer made any personal profit from financial donations, citing such expenses as a $23,000 commode, a $30,000 conference table and requested that Meyer's ministry make the information available by December 6, 2007. The investigation also aimed to scrutinize five other televangelists: Benny Hinn, , Eddie L. Long, , and .6

The ministry website explains that the $23,000 commode was a chest of drawers purchased at $230.00 among 68 pieces of furniture that were purchased for their offices. Their website states, "The $23,000 purchase price of this chest of drawers was actually an errant value assigned by the selling agent after the transaction was complete for the entire sixty-eight piece lot. Joyce Meyer Ministries humbly regrets not paying closer attention to specific 'assigned values' placed on those pieces that have now led to gross misrepresentations." 7

Joyce Meyer Ministries responded with a newsletter to its e-mail list subscribers on November 9, 2007. The organization referred to its annual financial reports, asserting that, in 2006, the ministry spent 82 percent of its total expenses "for outreach and program services toward reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as attested by independent accounting firm Stanfield & O'Dell, LLP." The message also quoted an October 10, 2007 letter from the which stated, "We determined that you [Joyce Meyer Ministries] continue to

• Kenneth Copeland boasts a world-wide following. • Bennie Hinn has multiple TV shows. • Paula White is a talk show regular. • received a faith-based grant from the Bush Administration. • Joyce Meyer has written more than 70 inspirational books.

• Creflo Dollar's message has been called the "gospel of bling."

Because they run churches they do not have to file tax forms with the IRS. So it's unclear how many millions - or billions - are collected every year.

And it’s uncertain how all the money is spent, CBS News chief investigative correspondent Armen Keteyian reports.

“Rolls Royces, Bentleys ... a marble commode in an expensive home: that’s a lot of money down the toilet,” said Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa.

Grassley, the ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, capped a two-year investigation on Monday by requesting financial records from six top televangelists to see whether they are helping others - or themselves.

Today, five of six denied any wrongdoing to CBS News. One did not respond to calls for comment.9

Joyce Meyer’s Hellish Doctrines

Meyer can be classified as a Word-Faith teacher and as such has shown an inclination to waffle on major doctrines. In her 1991 booklet, The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make, an evangelistic work aimed at nonbelievers, she resounds the Word-Faith view of Christ’s atonement:

• “During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin. He paid the price there ... no plan was too extreme ... Jesus paid on the cross and in hell” (pg. 35, underlining in the original). • “God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, ‘Let Him go.’ Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and

filled Jesus ... He was resurrected from the dead — the first born-again man” (pg. 36, underlining in the original). • “His spirit went to hell because that is where we deserved to go. Remember in the very beginning of this, I said, ‘When you die, only your body dies. The rest of you, your soul and spirit, goes either to heaven or hell’” (ibid.). • “There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth I am presenting. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place in hell” (ibid.). • “Jesus went to hell for you” (pg. 38, underlining in the original).10

The Underground Christian Network • Worldwide SHOCKING Actual Audio of Joyce Meyers teaching some very strange doctrines. who is the 'Jesus' of Joyce Meyers? Did Jesus really cease to be God when He was on the cross as Joyce teaches? hear these strange doctrines from her own mouth from her tape called 'From the Cross to the Throne' strangely enough Kenneth Copeland came out with a tape by the SAME NAME many years earlier, teaching the exact same doctrinal errors, ( y e t Joyce claims she got this information by divine revelation from God) A L S O hear also how Joyce Meyers agrees with the Jehovah's Witness false bible version..and so much more.. it saddens us to see how many people are being deceived by such teachings as she is teaching. By the way...strangely this tape of hers is 'no longer available' from her ministry, this may be the only place you will hear these actual audios.11 http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=260772221

Doctrines of Devils

Sadly, many Christians are falling into the traps of Satan through their trust of wealthy, prominent, religious men and women who no longer preach Jesus Christ or the Bible but serve the god Mammon. Countless Christians have not had their mind renewed through the Word of God. They have not been sanctified through the washing of the blood of Jesus. Their faith centers all-around Christian icons or stars instead of Jesus Christ as God and His purpose of giving them salvation for them to enter into His Kingdom. He never taught us to seek a kingdom on this earth to take dominion over world government or that calls all religions to come into religious unity. “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold,” -- Matthew 24:11-12 KJV The Christian Church has become cold and lukewarm and some have given their minds over to forms of Better Homes and Garden or Disney World Christianity and lifestyles. Some are

10 http://www.pfo.org/wan-star.htm 11 The Underground Christian Network • W o r l d W i d e http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 7 seeking after material things or emotional experiences. Jesus is rarely preached. (Rom. 10:17), "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." I should point out that Joyce Meyer promotes and uses the only the Amplified Gospel of John--- Amplified Bible. The Lockman Foundation and Dewey Lockman sponsored and copyrighted the back in 1954 and the Amplified New Testament in 1958. Zondervan then took it over and in 1962 came out with Job through Malachi. In 1964 they published Genesis through Esther. In 1965 the entire Amplified Bible was complete. Zondervan has recently been taken over by Harper San Francisco, a secular publishing house that was in turn bought out by Rupert Murdoch, media's "prince of darkness." Owns Fox Network and also Zondervan has been in secular hands for some time. One of the members of the Amplified Version committee, Dr. Franklin Joyce Meyer’s Amplified Bible Logsdon, has renounced the Amplified Version, as well as the New American Standard. He said: "As a member of the editorial committee in the production of the Amplified New Testament, we honestly and conscientiously felt it was a mark of intelligence to follow Westcott and Hort. Now, what you have in these books strikes terror to my heart. It proves, alarmingly, that being conscientiously wrong is a most dangerous state of being. God help us to be more cautious, lest we fall into the snares of the arch deceiver." The books that Logsdon referred to are Which Bible? and True or False? by Dr. D. O. Fuller (available in the shopping cart). These showed Dr. Logsdon, for the first time, the corrupt http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 8 nature of the Westcott and Hort Greek text underlying new versions-- that would include the Amplified, the NIV, and the NASB (His audio testimony is available in the shopping cart). The particular problem with the Amplified Bible is that it is guilty of adding to God's word. It is called an "expanded translation." It is in direct violation of Revelation 22:18 which says: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:" Proverbs 30:6 adds:"Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." We are forbidden to add anything to the word of God, and the Amplified Bible translation has done just that.12 Throws these perversions away and shut these preachers off. Are you listening to preaching that consists of stories about the minister or her family experiences; worldly wealth; big ministry and money, money, money? Are you being entertained by a church that is operating like a civic club, look around, are all the Christian emblems removed, such as the cross? Are you being mind controlled to giving them so that you can get a return to increase your depleted bank account? Are your ears tickled? Many of these “prosperity preachers” are sumptuously living like kings and queens in multimillion dollar homes while you are overwhelmed by debt. Satan is not “blessing” their followers with nothing but an over active imagination. I'm telling you that you are NOT listening to the real gospel. Repent for seeking after God the Father as a sugar daddy in the sky instead of seeking the God that sent His Divine Son Jesus to save you from your sins and give you eternal life. Rededicate your life to Jesus and ask Him where you can go to receive the true Gospel. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God," (Rom. 12:2). NEW AGE MOVEMENT This is the most deceptive, damaging philosophy around today. It is entwined not only in witchcraft and Satanism but also prevalent in all branches of Christianity. Some belief systems have become deeply intermixed and rooted in eastern mysticism. Followers are told the New Age lie, “you are a god,” awakening their God consciousness thru Transcendental Meditation, Yoga, Hypnosis, visualization etc. What most people do not understand . . . this is the same thing Satan said in the Garden of Eden to Eve. "You will be as Gods" (Gen. 3:4,5).

No one is a god but Jesus Christ and accepting yourself as a god, puts you on the list of those going to hell. Big ole fat Buddha was demon possessed. Hinduism, Taoism and all the eastern philosophies are a result of demons talking to those who would allow them through the

12 http://www.avpublications.com/avnew/downloads/PDF/q7.pdf http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 9 demon of Kundalini. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, not through Gurus, meditative practices, rituals or methods."Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness," (Lk. 11:35). Schizophrenic Christianity is everywhere. Let us not continue to live in this deceptive dream world. “We’ll just have a Holy Ghost Party. Come and get into the River, sing, laugh and be merry and don’t forget to send me your registration form to come and swim in the Holy Ghost River. The anointed minister will entertain you and only charge you a registration fee of $40.00 for one and $70.00 per couple. Give me your money and God will surely bless you. Come to the circus, the greatest show on earth is the new church of folly. The “anointing is so strong that it takes two men to hold the “anointed the minister” from falling. Don’t let the Devil steal your joy.” A local church near to us sent this invitation out. Let’s Dance Finale Friday, December 11th 7:00 pm Faith Christian Center. Main Sanctuary FREE You’re invited to watch couples show off their Latin and ballroom dance routines. Cheer on your favorite couple as prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Concessions will be sold. Come out and join the dance craze. These type Churches; excuse me, entertainment center, also offers, karate, steam baths, yogi classes, etc. You can pat your flesh but you cannot gain entrance into the kingdom with this Disney World Christianity. It is harvest time for Satan; false apostles, deceitful workers, angels of light are everywhere, (II Corinthians 11:13-15). Moreover, just because people use the name of "Christ" or "Jesus" in their CONJURING does not mean anything. The adherents of Voodoo and Santeria use the name of "Jesus" and "Christ" in their ceremonies and rituals, but it is most certainly NOT the Christ or the Jesus of the Bible. Remember, there are many "false Christs" and "false prophets" gone out into the world. (Matt 24:24). “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him,” -- 2 Corinthians 11:4 KJV “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 10 through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” -- 2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV To see more: http://www.patholliday.com/christograms/from_scribd/Dec-08/ye-shall-be-as- gods.pdf
