1 Rules

1 All persons knowingly making a false entry shall forfeit all unpaid premiums awarded to them and be disqualified from competing at the next Show. 2 All foals must be haltered. 3 Animal owners are kindly requested not to clean horse boxes etc. out on the Show Field. 4 All animals exhibited must be the property of the exhibitor at the time of entry. 5 No entry fees refundable. 6 An additional charge of £1.00 per person to be paid with each entry form in order to assist with the provision of First Aid Cover. 7 The committee will use every precaution to prevent accidents to exhibits and the public, but should anyBaker incident occur, Printers they will not be held Ltd responsible for the damage or accident. 8 All disputes to be decided by the Committee, and not subject to any proceedings at law. 9 Objections must be given in writing to the Secretary before the close of the Show with a deposit of £20.00 and any further expenses incurred must be paid by the persons against whom the Committee give their decision. The deposit will be forfeited to the Society if the objection is not sustained. 10 Any exhibitor making use of any offensive language to any Judges or Stewards on the field or in connection with decisions, to forfeit all prizes awarded to them. 11 A General Meeting of Members shall be held in the months of January or February annually, at which a statement of the Society’s affairs shall be submitted : Rules revised: Schedule or premiums arranged, Officers elected and all other business transacted. 12 All entries with entranceBaker fees and a S.A.E., Printers to be sent to the SecretaryLtd in writing on or before the closing date of entries. Telephone entries cannot be accepted, even the Best of Friends! PLEASE USE FIRST CLASS POST TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. 13 All Trophies are to be returned in good, clean condition and suitably engraved. 14 If a competitor wins the same Perpetual Trophy for three consecutive years the Show Committee will buy them a small trophy to keep as a memento. Please inform Secretary prior to Show Day. 15 Riders to wear a hard hat when mounted, which meets current British Standard specifications. Hats which bear EN1384 or BSEN1384 ALONG WITH another accepted standard, will be permitted. For example, BSEN1384 & PAS015 (1998 or 2011) along with the Kitemark or Inspec IC mark will be acceptable, but not BSEN1384 on its own. 16 Entry Tickets – for £5 in entries an admission ticket will be sent to a maximum of 2 tickets, at the discretionBaker of the secretary. While the Show does not have to check these are present, competitors should have them with them as Trading Standards may do a ‘spot check’. 18 Entry onto the field will be by official pass only and any vehicle seeking access to the field without a pass will be charged £10.

Agricultural Competitors Entry Tickets – for £5 in entries an admission ticket will be sent to a maximum of 2 tickets, at the discretion of the secretary.

Tent exhibitors will be allowed to park on the showfield whilst delivering exhibits. After 11.00 a.m. their vehicles must be removed.

Vehicles will only be admitted to the Main Showfield if displaying the official pass, otherwise they will be directed into the car park field. Method Cream butter, sugar and treacle then add eggs and beat all together. Fold in flour and fruit. Bake in a greased tin at low heat 350F or170C for 1 hour 30 mins.
