KHABILOV live on FOX Sports 1, Saturday, June 7 (10:00 PM ET). Fresh off a January win against Josh Thomson, Henderson (20-3, fighting out of Glendale, Ariz.) hopes that a win against Khabilov (17- 1, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.), will put him in line for a chance to regain his title. The 27-year-old Khabilov trains at the famed Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA gym in Albuquerque and has reeled off three straight wins to start his UFC career. Now he’ll meet the toughest test of his young career against the former UFC lightweight champion. “Ben Henderson is a great mixed martial artist and longtime champ at 155 pounds, but Rustam Khabilov is a legit threat,” says UFC ON FOX analyst Brian Stann. “Henderson likes to fight at that smooth rhythm where he controls the pace and the space of the fight. Khabilov is not that kind of dance partner. He’s going to disrupt that rhythm. It’s a really intriguing matchup.” Watch UFC ON FOX announcer Jon Anik and Stann preview Benson Henderson vs. Rustam Khabilov: http://foxs.pt/1pNsyZ6 UFC TONIGHT – UFC FIGHT NIGHT: HENDERSON VS.
