Dear Classmates,

Threescore (minus one) years ago, our parents achieved liberation by sending us off to Cornell. Little did they realize that in addition to focusing on our academics, we would also learn how to have a good time. Now, 55 years after we have graduated, it’s time to relive those memories on the Hill. Join your classmates on June 6–9 for our 55th Reunion to renew old friendships, revisit old haunts, and discover a Cornell that has grown physically (see the January/February 2019 issue of Cornell Alumni Magazine) as well as academically.

Alice Cook House—where University Halls used to be—will serve as our class headquarters and residence. You’ll enjoy air-cooled spaces, elevators (age does have its privileges!), a dining room, and a large gathering area where we can relax and reconnect following our on-campus dinners. Nearby parking, on-call accessibility transportation, class-event buses, and continuously running university bus service up the hill assure that mobility will not be a problem.

Our goal has been to create a balanced schedule of class activities that leaves plenty of time for you to participate in campus-wide events or just hang out in the gathering area at Alice Cook (with refreshments and hydration available day and night), along with the opportunity for good meals and lots of time together.

Turn the page to learn more about registration for our 55th and review the schedule on page 4. Then use the enclosed form or go online to register and take advantage of discounted early-bird pricing. Visit our website at cornell1964.org to view current information and register online. You can also visit alumni.cornell.edu/reunion to find general Reunion information to help you make your plans.

While there are many new facilities on campus, you will be amazed at how the old is both retained and improved. All of this will enhance the special feelings that come from returning to campus and rekindling the memories and friendships originating from a truly unique time in our lives.

Carolyn Whitman, Reunion Chair

Bruce Wagner, Class President

PS: Please call two or three of your closest classmates and get them to join you. They will be glad they came. We promise a good time for all and look forward to seeing you in June. Weekend June 6-9, 2019
