OUR HISTORY: The Eight Hotel Paraggi hotel structure was purchased in 2007 by the Solido hotel division, which deals with the design, construction and management of hotels. DESIGN: All renovations were carried out by Solido Interior Design which, led by Brunella Pignatiello, expertly created a perfect mix between the charm of Neoclassic architecture and a modern style which gives the Eight Hotel Paraggi a special charm made up of tradition and innovation together. THE HOTEL: The Eight Hotel Paraggi, located in the most exclusive bay in the Ligurian Riviera, is a 19th century villa immersed in the intense, perfumed greenery of the Mediterranean shrub-land and the crystal clear sea. Sitting between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino, the bay is set into the cliff and represents the perfect holiday for all those looking to combine the intimacy of this inlet wit the social life and charm of Portofino. Situated on the northwestern coast of Italy, Portofino is in the Liguria region. Liguria arcs around the Tyrrhenian Sea with the Gulf of Genoa in its center. It is a mountainous and hilly land with landscapes of great beauty. The region is divided in two sections. The Riviera di Ponente is to the west from Ventimiglia to Genoa. To the east is the Riviera di Levante from Genoa to La Spezia. The strip of the Riviera di Levante is known as “Le Cinque Terre” or the Five Lands and still repre- sents a beautiful example of Italian landscapes.
