Like all the other Tiny Titans books, it's cute, silly, and probably most likely to be enjoyed by elementary age kids who've watched the Teen Titans cartoon. Aug 22, Ben Truong rated it really liked it Shelves: childrenscomicstrade-paperback. Tiny Titans: Growing Up Tiny! The cast of characters is rather large and it once again is expanded a lot. Like the previous trade paperback, a child could do an activity for fun and a pin-up poster that they could hang somewhere at the end of each chapter. The faculty of Sidekick City Elementary was expanded to have Dr. Light as the science teacher and the Doom Patrol is the crossing guards, which were essentially one chapter as each member, lead the Sidekick City Elementary students back and forth. Lobo returns as the coach as he witnessed a race between the Flashes. It opens up with Alfred doing the laundry to watch seems like the superhero community. What ends up happening is that he mixes the Super Family's capes and everything turns pink. There was a romance between Match and Bizarro Girl when she visits Earth and an issue about the Tiny Titans trying to dress up as their mentors. There is a very brief reappearance of the League of "Just Us" Cow Club and the underwater Pet Club when Kroc briefly interrupted them and that is about it. Surprisingly, there seems to be a lack of club focus in this trade paperback, but it wasn't missed too much. Art Baltazar and Franco Aureliani penned the entire trade paperback and for the most part, it was written rather well. It is quite funny, giving many Easter Eggs and Tiny Titans: Growing Up Tiny Volume 7 to comic events that have happened in the main continuity, which is rather clever for the older people who may be reading this series. Art Baltazar does double duty as he penciled the entire trade paperback as well and because he was the only penciler, the artistic flow of the trade paperback flowed exceptionally well. The penciling was done exceptionally well. It has a cartoonish quality, which is rather apropos to this series. Jul 16, Emma rated it it was amazing Shelves: secondgrade. Jan 11, Sam rated it really liked it. Tiny Titans: Growing Up Tiny Volume 7 7 year old picked this out at our local comic book store today. Being new to comics, I knew nothing about the Tiny Titans. After she was reading this book, laughing out loud hysterically and trying to tell me the story from the back of the car on the drive home I did a little research and am stoked to see that we have a lot of catching up to do. Simple, light, humorous, and refreshingly - not crude. It's nice to see a comic appeal to kids without the typical cheap crude humor that kids thes My 7 year old picked this out at our local comic book store today. It's nice to see a comic appeal to kids without the typical cheap crude humor that kids these days tend to expect. I read it myself and enjoyed a little bit of the reference humor to JLA and the gang. Jun 30, Jacob rated it liked it. While I do think the creators are talented on this series, I know every time I read a T. My children absolutely adore and love the book and that's all that matters. I appreciate what the creators bring to the table, but more often than not it's my kids that laugh out loud at the jokes not me. This book continues to remain full of W-I-N for both young boys and girls. Apr 08, Angela rated it it was amazing Shelves: childrensdcgraphic- novels. This volume covers pink clothes, flashpoint, the reboot and some love stories. It hits all the right notes again to make me laugh out loud. Yes, this is good for kids. But if you know a bit about the main series continuity it is hilarious. I just love the idea of Zod getting pizza delivered to the phantom zone. And the reboot Tiny Titans: Growing Up Tiny Volume 7 is really, really funny. A great read. May 04, Trisha rated it it was amazing. Less interesting as previous volumes and not funny. Jul 25, Amanda rated it it was amazing Shelves: comics. Crushes, a tiny Justice League, and more bizarros are just some of the fun appearances in this book. Tiny Tutans continues to be more adorable and a hoot to read!
