The text of this chant was written in the thirteen century by St Thomas Aquinas, one of the most influential Charles Wesley’s great Christmas hymn has been through many stages of development since the words medieval philosophers and theologians. It is sung in the Catholic mass at the consecration of the bread were first written in 1739. Stille Nacht (Silent Night) was composed for the Christmas Eve mass in 1818 in the Bavarian (now Despite being such a well known and loved Christmas hymn, the origins of O Come, All Ye Faithful are Austrian) village of Oberndorf. ANNUAL The Brandenburg celebrated wines from Ross Duke Wine SUNSET SOIRÉE WITH its annual Spring Dinner with an Company. Musicians from the BRANDENBURG evening of memorable elegance. Orchestra performed with guest AVI AVITAL SPRING DINNER Guests enjoyed a specially designed soprano Madison Nonoa, raising 27 October 15 October menu created by Gastronomy audiences to their feet. Thanks to AMP, Circular Quay, Sydney Government House, Sydney Sydney, with exceptional matching Government House Sydney. Brandenburg supporters came together for a Sunset Soirée in honour of international guest artist Avi Avital. Guests were treated to an intimate and enchanting performance by Avi Avital, superstar of the mandolin and Jamie Hey, the Orchestra’s principal cellist. This special event was generously supported by AMP.
