Approximately 100 volunteers, including members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, met at Oriole Beach Elementary School this weekend to sort donated food into boxes for those who need a little extra help during the holidays. There was enough food to fill over 200 family boxes, with food left over. Much of the food was collected during a food drive competition between Gulf Breeze and Navarre high schools. Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County with our community also will distribute food at Christmas. For details, visit santarosacares.org.
