Benefactor Tours Hakarat HaTov to Josh Samborn & his amazing committee: Larry Fish, Walter Friedrichs, Andy Katz, and Ted Spar, not only for their dream, but for their determination and outstanding dedication of hours & days & weeks & months of planning so that we can all enjoy the mitzvah of building our new shul together! Several major benefactors were invited as special guests to come on Sunday, February 28th, for exciting tours of our new expansion at CTO. With hard hats and snacks they were led on a guided walk through the construction site. Entering a virtual door, they followed the lines painted on the floor that marked the location of the walls and doors to come. As tour guide, I explained the layout, future location of the classrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and of course the huge social hall/west ◆ SHABBAT PARAH wing sanctuary. Following Parasha pg. 484 ◆ Maftir pg. 838 ◆ Haftarah pg. 1216 the tour, Dave Cheslow gathered everyone in the Candle lighting tent to answer questions Earliest 5:11pm regarding the construction. Thanks to Hilda Mirwis for Standard 6:06pm providing pictures of our Zoom Kabbalat Shabbat 5:10pm first tours of our shul expansion. Our guests were Mishna Yomit 5:45pm most impressed — below 6:00pm are a few responses:

SHABBAT “Talked about the extension for years and I was so excited to see that it actually happened. I can’t wait to get back to participating in shul events!” -Rita Geller “WOW!!” -Zippy Goldstein Latest Shema 9:36am “What a marvelous addition to our shul. Thank you Josh for your lofty vision!” - Mindle Cheslow Mishna Yomit 5:45pm “Increased Shabbos seating... rooms for learning… rooms for growth…” Mincha followed by Rabbi’s Shiur & Ma’ariv 6:00pm “The actual size of the wing and plans for usage…” Shabbat Ends 7:00pm “Seeing the actual size of the large hall and thinking about the vision to create a place Zoom Havdalah 7:25pm that will be accessible to all our members and will dramatically improve our quality of life as a congregation.” -Karen Greene “The rate of progress is amazing and every benefactor has a share in this wonderful mitzvah!” -Jonas Waizer “Having everything on ONE floor - davening, classes and yes, even Kiddush - is the BEST!! No more stairs or elevators. There’s even a dedicated space to park walkers inside!” - Vicky Rubenovitch-Fish “We were so glad to see that the planning over the years finally came to fruition. We look forward to using the new and improved shul in good health—B’sha’ah tova!” -Avi & Adrienne Kuperberg
