MAKING YOUR OWN WAY ON FOOT It’s a short 10 to 15 minute walk from Newcastle’s Central Station.

1. Drive/ walk up to site

The car park is one-way, please use the second entrance on the right if approaching from Scotswood Road, or the first entrance on the left if approaching from Westmorland Road.

2. Arrive at entrance

You will be greeted by a marshal who will direct you to a parking bay.

3. Park up in free parking bay

If you arrive by car, please wait in your car until 5 minutes before your appointment.

Wheelchairs are available on site – please ask a marshal if you require one.

4. Walk to entrance

Please make your way to the main entrance, 5 minutes before your appointment. Marshals will be on site to guide you and there will be masks available at the door if you do not have your own.

5. Enter building

Please enter through the main entrance door (left hand side). The queuing system will guide you to the court doors at the bottom. Please ensure you maintain social distancing.

6. Toilets

There are a number of toilets just before you enter the court, including disabled toilets.

7. Check in Once inside the court, a check- in volunteer will tick your name on the clinic list. You will then need to walk to the far end of the court to the clinic and may be required to queue for a short time (the distance to walk is about 40 metres).

8. Registration

Next, you will be registered by the admin team using your name and date of birth. They will start to complete your vaccination form that will follow you through the process. When it is busy, you may be asked to sit in a waiting chair for a short period before being registered.

9. Clinical assessment

A registered health professional will ask you a couple of questions before your vaccine.

10. Vaccination station

You will receive your vaccine at a vaccination station. There are medical screens in place to ensure privacy.

11. Observation

Once you’ve had your vaccine, you will be asked to sit in a chair for 15 minutes before leaving. These will be spaced out to enable social distancing.

12. Exit

To help avoid congestion, we have a one-way system inside. Please exit through the fire doors which lead directly to outside.

13. Walk back to car park & exit site

From the exit you will need to walk back to the front of the building where you will find the car park and taxi rank. Please exit via the bottom entrance of the car park.
