Florent PIEDANNA, CRRG – Explanation of grazing and transhumance (Good practice) 300 Ha of land for sheep “boulonnais” – local race - major area in north of Paris; 6 farmers involved and 450 sheep female and 20 male. Good place for young farmers that need area for free sheeping

Xavier DOUARD: Explanation of the natural area management by EDEN62, public stakeholder. It is a Natura 2000 site, the main way of management is by pasture lands with boulonnais sheep to help maintain the “open” area

Romain BOULLET: Visit of his farm and sheeps in Tardinghen; explaination of the land management with sheep – 110 Ha farm

Freddy COFFRE: Vice-President of Association “Sheep Boulonnais”; explain how do they work with the Natural Park, ENRx, CRRG and EDEN62. Next transhumance will occurred in June, 2d, 2018

13h30 – Visit of Baincthun Seed Orchard

Explanation by Michel MARCHYLLIE – Controlled, origin species – Seed Orchard planted in 2015 to begin a regional sector of controlled-origins shrubs and trees. The picking of seeds in a near future will make both the control of the origin and the traceability possible for the material proposed by the nursery practitioners in Nord-Pas de Calais. This planting was made on a public land and certified by agreement with the National Forest Office (ONF).

14h – Visit of Gîte “Forme Nature Bien être” Les Tilleuls in TINGRY Mister and Misses READ explained their activity. Also a professional in sophrology explained the partnership with the Gîte. Florence BLAS explained the strategy of Gîtes de France in the region.

15h30 – Visit of Natura 2000 area management in ST ETIENNE AU MONT

Philippe GODEAU, local representative authority explained the work between the commune and the Natural Park in this area

Aymeric BULOT, Technical Director of Rivages Propres explained the Association that work with professional and social insertion in natural areas – there is a team working here to restore the land and put an enclosure for sheeping in April.

Antonin VIGUIER, Natura 2000 Animator for Natural Park explained the work he is doing for protecting bats in the bunkers

17h30 – Visit of Maison du Marais Museum in SAINT OMER

Luc BARBIER, Natural Park Caps et Marais d’Opale and CAPSO Stakeholder explained the Marsh managment (Man and Biosphere, Ramsar) and the work they do with all the stakeholders within the « marsh contract »

Guided visit to explain the museum, the founders of the marshes in the VIIIth century, vast exhibition which gives to see in the present all the history of the marshes since its creation until our days and the specific biodiversity of the Audomarois Marsh.

15 students of the Bavay High School have presented in english their action with Biodiver’Lycées in partnership with ENRx and PNR Avsenois. The main actions were the preservation of a local race of bee “l’abeille noire de Chimay” and a fruit-tree plantation in the High School, their flowers places, the Insect Hotel and the nesting box for Tyto Alba, orchard plantation in a public place, the proposing of another high school in a neighbor local authority and the future partnership with Archeosite in the local authority regarding plant growing and perfume making as in Romans’ time.

This is a declination of the operation « Plantons le décor » in partnerhsip with « intercommunalités » (group of local authorities) ; the experience with CAPH and ENRx

7 have permitted to plant 60 000 local trees in the territory. The partnership and the results have been exposed to the participants.

15h30 – – Gîte et jardin vitrine – Show-case garden experience

This a « passive » house in terms of energy. The owner explained his proceeding and the participants have tasted an old and forgotten vegetable “ la chicorée tête d’anguille”

18h – Balance of the meeting – A survey for valuation of the meeting have been filled by all the partners participants. A round table is also made, moderated by Caroline DELELIS GOULART to comment the “coup de Coeur” / best visit that each participant made and to comment the 3 days that occurred for this 4th meeting. Globally the comments were very positive. Doru TUDORACHE, explained that he had the opportunity during this meeting to “understand and see in reality all the good practices that were presented by ENRx” and were “very satisfied”. See in appendix 3, the surveys filled by the participants. See appendix 2 for all the surveys
