30 November 2010: Outsourcery, the UK's leading independent provider of unified communications and cloud solutions, has selected TelecityGroup’s state-of-the-art Powergate facility as its primary data centre. The decision will guarantee the availability of Outsourcery cloud services to its customers – including infrastructure, applications and storage – maximising resiliency and business continuity. Due to the nature of its business, ensuring maximum availability is critical to Outsourcery, as its customers rely on the company’s ground-breaking cloud services to run their businesses. Outsourcery is currently experiencing 100 percent year-on-year growth, and made the decision to use a third-party data centre provider to ensure its infrastructure can scale to cope with such increasing demand. When looking for a data centre, it needed to ensure that significant provision of power and resiliency for its IT services, as well as the physical capacity to enable growth.
