Our first stop will be St. Sophia, the great Byzantine Basilica built in the 6th century; then the Blue , which is a 17th century Ottoman Mosque famous with its six minarets and magnificent interior with blue tiles. Visit Hippodrome, the place where chariot races and competitive athletic events took place during the Roman period. Topkapi Palace, the residence of Ottoman Sultans housing the richness of 700 years. Visit the treasury section with the crown jewels and the unique collection of Chinese porcelains. Our last stop will be the Grand Bazaar, the world famous shopping center where you will have shopping opportunities for carpets, jewellery, leather, etc .

Th e cruise ends at the fishing village of Sariyer close to The Black Sea. Drive to Camlica Hill on Asian side via to see the beautiful panoramic view of Istanbul. DAY 01: Transfer from Grand Cevahir Hotel to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for a morning flight to Kayseri. Meet at Kayseri Airport and proceed to Cappadocia. First visit Dervent and Pasabag valleys to see the rock formations called chimneys due to their peculiar shapes formed through volcanic eruptions and erosion. Then an extensive visit to Goreme Open Air Museum with its 10 th century churches cut out of soft rock with beautiful interior frescoes. After lunch visit to the natu ral citadel of Uchisar, for a panoramic view of the region. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 02: Optional balloon tour. After breakfast, visit Kaymakli Underground City built in the 7 th century by Christians who escaped from persecution in which a visitor is abl e to see descending several floors. There are eight floors of tunnels but only four of them are open for visit. After lunch, visit Zelve, a troglodyte dwelling which was inhabited by local people recently. Proceed to valley of Cavusin, where the houses exc avated in the skirt of a hill displaying decorated façades. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cappadocia.

DAY 03: After breakfast transfer to the airport in Kayseri . Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel

Virgin Mary accompanied St. John to Ephesus, spent her last years and died in a small house on a high hill among a forest of olive trees close by to Ephesus. A visi t there is considered to be a Pilgrimage by the Vatican. You may collect holy water from the sacred spring. Visit Basilica of St. John where St John came here to wrote his gospel. Then visit the temple of Artemis. Ephesus, without doubt, was one of the most important cultural centers of the ancient world and among her impressive structures you will marvel at the library of Celcus, temple of Hadrian, the theater and the Odeon. We will also visit the Museum of Selcuk . Return to Izmir or Izmir Airport.

HOT AIR BALLOONING IN CAPPADOCIA

Every flight is a fantastic adventure as we descend closely amongst the fairy chimneys and admire magnificent Cappadocian landscape. A flight in Cappadocia is truly "the experience of a lifetime!"

A hot-air balloon flight is unique from all other experiences since there is no sensation of motion. Travelling at height up to 1500 feet, the feeling is peace and tranquility. The earth slowly descends and rotates be low you. Within moments after taking off, you become at ease while you effortlessly drift over the treetops and the spectacular Cappadocian landscape. It is like a dream gently floating over the countryside in complete harmony with your surroundings.

The deep canyons and lush fertile valleys of Cappadocia provide our balloons with an ideal playground for a unique and memorable flight. G entle winds carry us over places that could never be reached except by balloon. Ballooning can be such fun! In season we can even pick apricots from the trees!

DURATION: The guests picked up from their hotels around 05:00 am and return to hotel around 08:00 am. The flight takes approximately 50/60 minutes.

CANCELLATION: In the event of cancellation of the flight due to bad weather conditions, a full refund of the money will be paid. Cancellations can be made in writing up to 48 hours before the flight date with no charge but last-minute cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.
