Google Translate Apps Android Google translate apps android Continue Android: Google Reader webapp is pretty good, but we've long wanted an official, native Google Reader app since we started using Android. Today, Google has made this dream come true, with additional volume like key navigation, multiple accounts, and sharing. The app really is a great standalone version of Google Reader, offering full search and subscription features directly from the app. You can also use multiple accounts, synchronize your preferences, and share articles with friends (as well as view their shared articles). Among the features that you would expect, however, are a few cooler features that we are very excited about. At the top of the list is volume navigation, which, once included in the settings, will allow you to quickly skip your feeds (a la j and k shortcuts in your desktop web app). You can also click a folder or subscription to rename it, unsubscribe from it, or change folders. And, as with most Android apps, you can click the menu button to send the article to other apps such as Facebook, Gmail and Twitter. If you're still dissatisfied with Android RSS readers out there, we strongly suggest giving this a go. Google Reader is a free download for Android phones. It's available on the Android market, but you'll have to scroll down a bit to find it. Alternatively, hit up the CD code on the right to download it right away. Android Google Reader App is here! Translation of applications is actually quite important. They help people communicate without a human translator or learn the language for months. Most of the use cases involve translating what you see on social networks, although most social media sites have embedded translations now. Generally speaking, most translations app use for rare travelers, students wanting to learn a new language, and translating menus or something in a restaurant. We have a whole list of outstanding translation applications below. However, we can save you a bit of reading. Most cases are decided by Google Translate, Microsoft Translate or Reverso Dictionary. BK Translate appDict BoxDict.ccDictionary LingueeGoogle TranslatePrice: FreeBK Translate is a developer in Google Play with various translation apps. They have dozens of languages, including popular ones like Spanish, Arabic, German, Indonesian, French and many others. Each app works the same way. It translates between any language he supports and English. It works with input, voice and handwriting. In addition, it works with both words and full sentences. The user interface is simple and easy to use. That's about all these apps to do. These are simple applications for translators. They're also all free with Unfortunately, you can't pay to remove ads. The Dictator BoxPrice: Free/$6.49Dict Box is a multilingual dictionary. It supports dozens of languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Hindi, And others. Some of the features include full autonomous support, word correction, audio pronunciation, photos, flash cards to practice memorizing and synchronizing cross-devices. It also includes camera functions. The design is decent and easy to use. There really isn't much to not like about it. Some features are locked in the free version, but are unlocked in the premium version. Dict.ccPrice: Free / Up to $8.99Dict.cc is a multilingual dictionary and translator app. He works with dozens of languages including French, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish and others. It just seems to work with a single word. However, this is a good way to translate between two languages. The app has autonomous support, automatic suggestions, audio pronunciation and more. It should work perfectly for the languages it supports. The free version includes about a dozen languages. The premium version comes with a whole collection of supported languages and removes advertising. LingueePrice Dictionary: FreeDictionary Linguee is a popular and powerful multilingual dictionary. It supports dozens of languages. The app also includes a very good user interface that is easy to use. Some other features include stand-alone support, sample suggestions, audio pronunciation and more. It's easy among the best multilingual dictionaries on your mobile phone. We would like her to support more languages. However, we are sure that it is harder to do than it seems. In any case, this app is completely free without advertising or in-app purchases, on our account. It's definitely one of the best. Google TranslatePrice: FreeGoogle Translate is probably the best translation app on your mobile phone. It supports more than 100 languages online and more than 50 languages offline (via input). It also translates things with the camera, like menus or street signs. The app also supports handwriting, voice input, and input input (obviously). Finally, it can even translate a full conversation in real time if necessary. This is the gold standard on a mobile phone. Aside from the occasional fool or mistake, there is not much bad with it. It's also free without in-app purchases or ads. Innovative software translation appsPrice: FreeInnovative Software is a developer in Google Play. They have different bilingual dictionary applications. They also work well in translation apps. All apps have the same features. This includes full offline support, automatic sentences, pronunciation, voice search, synonyms, antonyms and word games to practice memorization. There are dozens of languages. you just find one with the language you want and it translates between that and English. All apps are free with advertising. We would like to pay to remove the ads, but this is a relatively small complaint. Clyce Development Translation ApplicationsPrice: FreeKlays Development is a developer on Google Play just like BK Translate. They're Them a bunch of bilingual translation applications. There is also one app with all languages included with dozens of languages. All apps have a simple user interface. You also get inputs and voice inputs for translation. All individual translator apps have ads without a premium version. One app with all languages costs $1.81 and does not contain any other ads or in-app purchases. Frankly, we recommend one with all languages. This is the best offerMicrosoft TranslatorPrice: FreeGoogle Translate gets a lot of love. However, Microsoft Translate is also very good. It supports more than 60 languages. It's smaller than Google Translate, but still bigger than most. However, they are all available offline. The app also supports two-part conversations (up to 100 people at a time), phrasebooks, pronunciation guides, Android Wear support and alternative translations. It's actually amazingly good. Also, it's completely free without in- app purchases or ads as far as we can tell. The user interface is even pretty decent. If Google Translate gives you problems, Microsoft Translate may be the answer. Naver PapagoPrice: FreeNaver Papago is a translation app from Naver, a very popular search engine in Korea. It's not all that different from Google search and Google Translate. Anyway, Naver Papago supports translation between 13 languages. You can translate text, images, and voice with real-time translations. It also works 100% offline, and it can even recognize things like handwriting and websites. It's not quite as widespread as something like Google Translate or Microsoft Translate. However, we like the user interface and the features all work. Some seem to have problems with the website translation feature, so beware of this. Reverso DictionaryPrice: Free /Up to $12.00Reverso Dictionary is another popular multilingual dictionary. It's not quite as good as Dict.cc or Linguee dictionary. However, this is a viable option if they don't work for you. It supports dozens of languages. In addition, the app contains examples of sentences, audio pronunciation, word games for memorization, stand-after support and more. The app has a random connection error. There isn't much else wrong with it, however. This is not half bad, although we recommend other apps on this list before we recommended this one. If we missed any great Android translation apps, tell us about them in the comments! You can also click here to check out our latest Android app and game lists! We also have a massive list of translation apps, multilingual dictionaries and related conversation books Below for different languages if you want them! This year, Google pays a lot of attention to developers who create small applications for Android. According to Google research, for every 6MB added to the app size, the conversion rate for the app (i.e. the number of users who complete the installation) drops by about one percent. In other words, the smaller the app size, the more users will download it. As apps keep getting bigger and bigger, it's both in the best interests of Google and developers to do their best to make fewer Android apps.

No Longer Lost in Translation: Evidence that Google Translate Works for Comparative Bag-of-Words Text Applications1 Erik de Vries†,MartijnSchoonvelde‡,GijsSchumacher§ † Department of Media and Social Sciences, University of Stavanger email: [email protected] ‡ Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Vrije Universiteit email: [email protected] § Department of Political Science, University of Amsterdam email: [email protected] Automated text analysis allows researchers to analyze large quantities of text. Yet, comparative researchers are presented with a big challenge: across countries people speak di↵erent languages. To address this issue, some analysts have suggested using Google Translate to convert all texts into English before starting the analysis (Lucas et al., 2015). But in doing so, do we get lost in translation? This paper evaluates the usefulness of machine translation for bag-of-words models – such as topic models. We use the europarl dataset and compare term-document matrices as well as topic model results from gold standard translated text and machine-translated text. We evaluate results at both the document and the corpus level. We first find term-document matrices for both text corpora to be highly similar, with minor di↵erences across languages. What is more, we find considerable overlap in the set of features generated from human-translated and machine- translated texts. With regards to LDA topic models, we find topical prevalence and topical content to be highly similar with again only small di↵erences across languages. We conclude that Google Translate is a useful tool for comparative researchers when using bag-of-words text models.
