Decorating the Chapel of the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy

Thanks to your donations, UCU was able to provide more furnishings for the chapel in its Faculty of Theology and Philosophy. As Fr. Yuriy Sakvuk, PhD, head of the Pastoral Department, explains:

“The chapel is the spiritual center of the faculty. This is where faith is experienced in personal contact with God. It’s a place of prayer and spiritual reflection, where seminarians and theology students have the opportunity to realize the theoretical bases of biblical, liturgical and moral theology… In addition, on these premises are located UCU’s Journalism School, the L’Arche community, and the Iconography School. The presence of God’s word in daily life is also very important for all these organizations. In addition to the UCU community, the university also invites a wider circle to participate in UCU’s liturgical life.”
