INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Highly technical position which is responsible for providing maintenance/support for the government Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and supports mission critical functions. Manages user accounts. Performs hands-on tasks to manage and maintain cloud tenant and related technologies. Keeps enterprise applications current by performing routine updates, security administration and completing all necessary diagnostics. Assists with planning, maintenance and troubleshooting of information systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Provides technical and functional support for the ERP (E.g., Munis) and other systems  Serves as liaison for vendor support staff for remote access, system issues and requirements, patches/updates, security, and other support issues  Configures and troubleshoots business software/utilities on client  Diagnoses and resolves output performance and printing issues (E.g., Munis, Tyler Content Manager, and Crystal Reporting Services software)  Develops data analysis reports (E.g., using Excel and Crystal Reports)  Creates, deletes, updates Windows domain accounts using various tools (E.g., Active Directory Users and Group, ADManager Plus, and PowerShell)  Uses scripting tools (E.g., PowerShell) to help with the overall and governance of the domain and cloud environment  Performs problem resolution, user rights management, and administrative and development support of online staff resources (e.g., SharePoint)  Works collaboratively with Network Administrator to manage and monitor online services (E.g., Office 365) and hybrid infrastructure  Troubleshoots and resolves issues with user access to cloud services; encourages the adoption of cloud services  Assists with the creation of policies around the proper use of cloud services and support  Supports collaboration and mobile applications (E.g., Skype for Business and Office 365 tools)  Develops, documents, and maintains system standards and configuration procedures  Documents system and application setups/deployments; troubleshoots complex system- level problems with applications; implements and maintains systems security; responds to ticket requests submitted by employees; manages multiple priorities simultaneously  Stays abreast of current technology trends and the impact to enterprise systems  Develops automated solutions and alternatives to various manual processes  Documents changes to systems using best practices  Maintains a good understanding of upcoming changes to the platforms to assist with user change management  Ensures service delivery meets business requirements (based on defined SLAs)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:  In-depth knowledge and demonstrated administration/governance expertise with Microsoft collaboration tools (E.g., SharePoint Online), scripting, web design tools required to create and design organizational web-enabled sites, pages, web parts, and functions;  Knowledge of business rule and workflow development (E.g., using InfoPath & SharePoint);  Ability to multitask using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates;  Mature and self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment;  Capability to work as an effective member of a team;  Focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery, with strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness;  Microsoft cloud administration experience (E.g., Office 365, including migration experience)  Microsoft Windows Server administration experience;  Microsoft certifications a plus;  Experienced and well versed in all Microsoft environments;  Considerable knowledge of managing cloud solutions;  Ability to create scripts to schedule repeatable cloud administration actions;  Experience managing Active Directory sync into Azure AD;  Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and it’s interaction with Active Directory;  Understanding of supporting desktop applications;  Ability to conduct training and explain technical material to users;  Sound analytical, organizational, and communications skills;  Ability to work well with others.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or considerable related experience, especially in integrated financial/HR/PR ERP systems (experience in Tyler Munis ERP preferred);  Two to five years of hands-on IT Support experience with solid technical troubleshooting abilities;  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team;  Ability to explain complex issues to end users;  Excellent customer service skills;  Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems required;  Experience in scripting/programming languages (E.g., PowerShell, Transact SQL) preferred;  Experience in producing data-driven output using, (E.g., Excel and Crystal Reports);  Experience in writing and maintaining system documentation and specifications.
