Dear NPS Families,

Newburyport Public Schools has partnered with Curative to provide a covid-19 vaccination clinic to be offered at the Nock Middle School. Curative is a national biotech company that provides vaccination and testing in Massachusetts and across the nation. The clinic is open to the unvaccinated Newburyport community members including students, staff and parents.

What vaccines will be administered? The vaccine will be administered to your child age 12+. The Pfizer vaccine has received full approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for individuals 16 and older. It has been approved for emergency use in ages 12-15. Janssen J&J vaccine is available for patients 18 years and older, and is a one dose vaccine. The J&J vaccine is approved for emergency use authorization (EUA) by the FDA for individuals 18 and older. Where and when is the clinic? Nock Middle School, 70 Low Street, Newburyport First Dose Clinic: Thursday, September 9, 2021 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Second Dose Clinic : Thursday, September 30, 2021 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

How do I register? Registration is simple to complete using a smart device such as a cell phone, tablet, or computer. It will only take 10 minutes to complete the process. You’ll need to have general information and your health insurance card available to sign up. Note: health insurance is not required to participate. Completing the registration will enter the individual into the system for both first and second dose appointments.
