INSTALLING ACCESSORIES TO MULTI-TOOL

WARNING: Do not install battery until the accessory is installed securely to the tool.

This kit comes with 4 different accessory attachments, a HSS Segment (A) Fig.1, 52mm Rigid Offset Scraper Blade (B), Sanding Pad (C) with hook & loop backing (and 24 sanding papers, 8 x 60, 80 and 120 grit) and a Standard 35mm Narrow Tru-cut Offset Saw Blade (D). One accessory at a time can be installed to the multi-tool. To secure the accessory to the multi-tool, use the special washer and cap screw (E) and the 6mm hex. key (F).

Installing HSS Segment Saw Blade, 52mm Rigid Offset Scraper Blade and 35mm Narrow Tru-cut Offset Saw Blade

The installation procedure for these 3 accessories is identical. Position the accessory as shown in Fig.1 and place it over the shaft flange (G). Position the washer (serated side) over the accessory and screw cap screw using hex. key supplied. Make sure the accessory is properly seated on the locking pins before tightening cap screw. WARNING: Do not tighten the cap screw (E) unless the accessory is properly seated on the shaft flange, if you secure the accessory to the shaft without the accessory properly seated, the accessory may suddenly move during an operation, resulting in possible injury.

Installing Sanding Pad with hook & loop backing (24 sanding papers, 8 x 60, 80 and 120 grit)

The installation procedure for this accessory requires an additional step. Position the Sanding Pad (C) as shown in Fig.1 and place it over the shaft flange (G). The supplied washer can not be used when installing Sanding Pad. Screw cap screw using hex. key supplied. Make sure the accessory is properly seated on the locking pins before tightening cap screw. Then align and press the sanding paper onto the Sanding Pad, turn tool over 1.
