The Location Situated within Exmoor National Park, Oare Manor Cottage, as its name suggests, sits above Oare Manor, a well-known former hunting lodge, which is found next to the ancient church named in the R.D. Blackmore romantic novel, ‘Lorna Doone’. Surrounded by dramatic and picturesque countryside, Oare with its scattering of properties is found close to and the famous humpback bridge and ford.
