Peter Pan Speedrock certainly do. Hailing from Eindhoven (Rock City), this powerhouse of a trio play su- per-fast maximum rock’n’roll. At least, that’s what you think when you hear that Racoon was dropped by their record label after two fine releases which sold quite well, but not enough for their major label. The band decided not to give up and concentrated on writing new songs, and it paid off, as the album ‘ Another Day’ proved. The Hague’s Kraak & Smaak got the buzz go- ing with their first 12”’s and is a true favourite of dance/funk- lovers across Europe, thanks to their sizzling debutalbum Boogie Angst. The trio is even more energetic onstage, where they are often accompanied by a horn section and various guests, including a breakdancer and DJ. They recently released their first single and video for the song Drunken Boy off the Money Maker Me-album.
