4. Venue: Sport Hall "Polideportivo Camilo Cano” Partida Muixara, s/n 03530 La Nucía (Alicante – Spain)

5. Qualifications: 1) Holder of nationality of the participating team 2) Recommended by the national taekwondo association 3) Holder of the Kukkiwon Poom or Dan certificate * A copy of the Dan certificate should be enclosed together with the entry form.

6. Competition Rules: WTF Poomsae Competition Rules currently in force.

7. Method of competitions:

• Recognized Poomsae

Two (2) Poomsae from designated Compulsory Poomsae decided for each division must be performed for all the preliminariy, semi-final and final rounds for all competitions.

Cut-off system 1) Preliminaries: when twenty (20) or more contestants/pairs/teams are participating, the competition shall start from preliminary round with division of groups at different courts. After performing two (2) assigned Compulsory Poomsae, half of them from each group shall advance to semi-final based on their points.

2) Semi-final: when case nine (9) to nineteen (19) contestants/pairs/teams are participating, competition shall start from semi-final round. Contestants shall perform two (2) assigned Compulsory Poomsae and eight (8) of them shall advance to final based on their points.

3) Final: When eight (8) or less contestants/pairs/teams are participating, competition shall start from final round. Contestants shall perform two (2) assigned Compulsory Poomsae, and the top four (4) contestants/pairs/teams shall be awarded prizes based on their points. 3rd and 4th places are awarded with bronze medals.

• Free Style Poomsae

1) Free Style Poomsae is the performance based on taekwondo techniques with composition of music and choreography.

2) Composition of Free Style Poomsae:

Yeon-mu line shall be choice of contestant.

Number of Poom: Each performance shall be composite of 20 to 24 poom. (Composition of 1 poom shall be no more than 5 motions.)

Technique: Each performance shall be composite of attacking and defending techniques of taekwondo with 60% foot techniques and 40% hand techniques.

Music & choreography shall be choice of contestant.

Performed techniques must be within boundary of taekwondo. The definition of taekwondo techniques shall be determined by WTF Poomsae Committee, when contestant submits performance plan of free style poomsae

9. List of Poomsae to be performed:

- Designated Compulsory Poomsae Two (2) Poomsaes from designated Compulsory Poomsae decided for each division must be performed for all the preliminary, semi-final and final rounds for all competitions. Compulsory Poomsae to be assigned for each division shall be decided at the time of drawing of lots by Technical Delegate in consultation with the WTF officials.

11. Conditions for participation:

1) Round trip airfare and accommodation charges for room and board shall be borne by the participating national team.

2) Entry fee of 400€ for each country. For each of the single gender teams (male and female) the entry fee is 200€. Bank references will be provided in next points.

3) Ground transportation:

• Ground transportation will be provided for national teams on arrival and departure, provided that the Organizing Committee has been informed of the date, time, and flight schedule of the national team at the latest by April 9th 2013. Transportation to and from Alicante airport and Official hotels/Headquarter hotels only.

4) Hotel Accommodation:

• Accommodation expenses shall be borne by the participating teams. 12. International Referees: 1) The ETU will appoint the Poomsae international referees, on proposal of the ETU Referee Director. The following conditions shall apply: • International Referees are required to pay for their own roundtrip airfares. • The Organizing Committee shall pay lodgement for the referees (full board) for maximum four (4) days, including referee training. • The Organizing Committee shall pay per competition day 75€ to each of the International Referees.

13. Competition Managers and arbitration board 1) The ETU will appoint two (2) Competition Managers. The following conditions shall apply: • The Organizing Committee shall pay for the expenses of room and board for the two (2) Competition Managers. • The Organizing Committee shall pay per competition day 75€ to each of the Competition Managers. 2) The Organizing Committee shall pay per competition day 75€ to each of the four (4) members of the arbitration board.

14. WTF-recognized taekwondo uniform (Dobok): 1) Participating contestants must wear the WTF-recognized taekwondo uniform. Any contestants wearing unofficial dobok will not be permitted to compete. 2) No commercial advertising on officials uniforms. 3) No commercial advertising on competitors uniforms bigger than 9cm x 2cm

15. Medical control: 1) Use of drugs or any other doping offences by chemical substances is strictly prohibited. 2) The ETU will carry out random medical doping tests among the participating athletes. Any athletes who refuse to undergo the tests or who is proven to have committed a breach of the regulation, shall be removed from the final standing, and shall be subject to disciplinary actions. 3) The Anti-Doping Rules of the Federation and/or the World Anti- Doping Code shall apply.

16. Head of team meeting and Drawing of lots: The information will be processed in due time.

17. Closing date for entries: The closing date for the Organizing Committee to receive the entry is April 9th, 2013. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.

18. Others: 1) Each participating team should bring two national flags (size: 90cm x 130cm) as well as CD of its national anthem. 2) All contestants and officials participating in the11th ETU European Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2013 Spain will receive a diploma co-signed by the ETU President and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
