027 Brut ‘’Proprietors Reserve’’ 2012, Jackson-Triggs Niagara Peninsula 8.00 Pale yellow colour; crisp and refreshing wine with complex fruit characters and a soft dry finish.
022 Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Nyarai Cellars Niagara Peninsula 9.00 27.00 An engaging wine with lovely purity and structure. Fine mineral and citrus notes are bounded by pungent gooseberry, green capsicum and herbal tones supported by generous, fruity acidity. The restrained tension between stainless steel and barrel fermentation lots respectfully complement each other producing a wine of great elegance, as passion fruit and white peach flavours carry forth seamlessly.
030 Rosé “Lady Bug” 2012, Malivoire Niagara Peninsula 9.00 27.00 A medium pink colour suggests the aromas of ripe strawberry and rose that follow. First flavours of round red fruits evolve to show fresh citrus acidity, eventually giving way to dry tannins on a long finish.
043 Riesling “Picone Vineyard” 2011, Charles Baker Vinemount Ridge 11.50 34.50 See Note Below.
047 Pinot Gris 2011, Blue Mountain Okanagan Valley 11.00 33.00 Bright and Light golden in colour with tropical fruit aromas and apple notes on the palate.
037 Chardonnay ‘VRS’ 2011, Le Clos Jordanne Niagara Peninsula 12.00 36.00 Fresh flavours of crisp apple, melon and creamy vanilla are framed by an oak backbone spice notes on the nose.
045 Pinot Noir ‘Rogue’ 2011, Flat Rock Cellars Niagara Peninsula 14.00 42.00 A Pinot Noir made in the fashion of a barrel fermented Chardonnay! This ‘Blanc de Noir’ method creates a wine with complex aromatics and complexity on the palate.

2011 Charles Baker “Picone Vineyard” Riesling
Tasting Note
This is a big, powerful dry riesling with a rich nose of pineapple, florals, petrol and honey and particular spice I am noticing in some older vine Niagara examples. It's medium bodied, firm, rich and dry on the palate. Just a bit of heat but very fine nonetheless. A real mouthful of riesling, with excellent to outstanding length. BY THE GLASS & ½ LITRE

078 Château Mazeris, 2003 Canon Fronsac 14.00 42.00 The compelling 2003 Bordeaux is a modern-styled claret revealing loads of chocolate and creamy toasty oak giving it an espresso roast-like character. This dense purple-colored, flamboyant wine possesses sweet tannin, a voluptuous, opulent personality, full body, and loads of concentration.
093 Pinot Noir ‘VRS’ 2011, Le Clos Jordanne Niagara Peninsula 12.00 36.00 Intense, deep, dark cherry red with an intoxicating mixture of spicy plums, violets and cherry notes Anise-tinged cedar on the nose, finishes with soft tannin and solid structure.
097 Merlot 2010, Rosewood Estate Niagara Escarpment 9.00 27.00 Rich lifted aromas of spice-infused dark berry fruit, mocha and tobacco stream from the glass. This Is chewy and tangy with good nerve and verve expressed via a solid stream of mint-infused red cherry and bittersweet chocolate interwoven with black plum and spice. Medium-Full Bodied . 076 Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, Ghost Pines Sonoma County 11.00 33.00 This wine displays fresh plum and black cherry aromas, with a hint of chocolate. The fruit flavours are sustained by velvet tannins and an elegant lingering finish
082 Shiraz “Grand Reserve” 2010, Jackson Triggs Niagara Peninsula 10.00 30.00 See Note Below.
089 Malbec ‘Gran Reserva’ 2010, Carlos Basso Mendoza 12.00 36.00 Smooth, fruity, and a touch earthy on the nose, with pure raspberry, plum, and cassis in proper doses. Quite comfortable across the palate where juicy acids wrestle with full tannins. Finishes big, with chocolate.
FEATURED BY THE GLASS
2010 Shiraz “Grand Reserve” Jackson Triggs
Tasting Note
It has a dark menacing colour in the glass. It shouts bold and flavorful and delivers on both accounts. It’s so Rhone-like on the nose with boysenberry, blueberry, black currants roasted meats and white pepper aromas. It rocks on the palate with big meaty red fruits, roasted espresso bean, game, layers of spice and firm tannins.

Using our Enomatic Dispenser, we are able to offer you some of our premium wines to be enjoyed by the glass from our award winning cellar.
1996 Beringer “Private Reserve” Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley $39.00 / 5oz.
95 Points Wine Enthusiast. This wine is still young and precocious, but don't judge it too quickly. Let it air in your glass, and watch how it changes. One minute it's all cherries and smoke; the next it heaves up a great draught of currants, cocoa and cedar. It’s a big wine but deceptive; the tannins are airy and lilting, there’s charm and underneath, enormous complexity. It's best left alone for a few more years, but it’s very lovely now.
2008 Etude “Deer Camp” Pinot Noir Carneros $26.00 / 5oz.
91 Points Robert Parker. Saturated blueberry, black cherry and boysenberry aromas begin the nose of the 2008 Deer Camp Pinot Noir. On the palate, the brooding dark fruit mingles with notes of bay leaf and toasted almond. The tannins are supple and lead to a lingering finish of black cherry and spice. This is a powerful and serious Pinot Noir with great depth of fruit, ample tannins and vitality.
2008 Stag’s Leap, Petite Syrah Napa Valley $16.00 / 5oz.
91 Points Sommelier at Waterside Inn. Stags' Leap Winery's Petite Syrah comes from a 1920s-era field blend, which also includes small amounts of other Rhône varietals including Syrah (8%), Grenache (4%) and Viognier (2%). The resulting wine is a rich purple color with a decadent nose full of blueberry and blackberry fruit and hints of cocoa. In the mouth, the wine is vibrant and expressive, continuing to display black fruits and chocolate with additional notes of espresso and spice.
2007 Etude, Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley $35.00 / 5oz.
92 Points Robert Parker. Ruby-red. Blueberry, cassis, espresso, licorice and minerals on the soil-driven nose, with some sweet oak emerging with air. Dense but bright, with attractive violet lift to the dark fruit and licorice flavors. Energetic, pliant wine with an echoing finish that features firm but nicely integrated dusty tannins.
