News from Clyst St Mary Primary School The Summer Term at Clyst St Mary Primary School is always packed full of fun and sunshine! After a great Easter Break we are all looking forward to lots of sporting events and outdoor activities. Our theme this year is The Natural World and we have some fantastic resources in our local area. We will be taking classes to the Seaton and Nature Reserves and are planning activities in school, based on all aspects of nature and our environment. Class 5 will be visiting the County Show on Thursday 19 th May and the school is closed on Friday 20 th May for staff training. We are also preparing for our Summer Fête which will be on Sunday 26 th June and everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun. See the posters nearer the time.

A note from the PTFA on the Fête. This event is the main fundraiser for the PTFA each year. A major part of this day is the Silent Auction. The PTFA are reliant on the donation of auction prizes to make this event possible. Please could we ask CVN readers to help us secure as many prizes as possible through your connections – friends, family, employers and venues you frequent? No prize is too small or even too big! Please call Katie Harrison if you are able to help in any way on 07730 507068 or 01392 877705 or email [email protected] .
