Caspar Mccloud & the Ministry of Three Caspar McCloud & The Ministry of Three Caspar McCloud is an outstanding guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Mentored by some legendary artists like Peter Gabriel, Phil Keaggy, Paul Burgess of 10CC fame and Michael McBride from The Raspberries. Caspar's first release came from the UK in 1979. “Messin Round" went on to become a much sought after 45 recording by vinyl collectors worldwide. Caspar came back to the U.S. and signed on with Atlantic Records after leaving his home in England for New York City and was touted as the next Jimi Hendrix by Ahmet Ertegun, the CEO of Atlantic Records. Caspar produced two albums with Atlantic and has a large catalog of unpublished music from those days. Caspar has toured and recorded with many celebrities and friends including Michael Shrieve, and Michael Carabella of Santana, Matt Bissonette, (of Joe Satriani band- G3 and Ringo Starr band), Eddie Zynn (of Fog Hat and Hall and Oats), Kenny Passarelli, (Elton John, Joe Walsh, and Hall and Oates), Phil Keaggy, (Glass Harp, Solo works), and Peter Furler and Jody Davis of the Newsboys just to name a few.     Sparrow Discography by Mike Callahan, David Edwards & Patrice Eyries © 2018 by Mike Callahan Sparrow Records Discography Sparrow is a Contemporary Christian label founded in 1976 by Billy Ray Hearn. Hearn was the A&R Director for Word Records’ Myrrh label, founded a few years earlier also as a Contemporary Christian label. Sparrow also released records under their Birdwing subsidiary. Hearn’s Sparrow label was in competition with Hearn’s old boss, Word Records, and was quite successful. Even today, Sparrow is among the top Christian labels. Hearn sold the label to EMI in 1992, and it was placed under the Capitol Christian Music Group. Sparrow signed a distribution agreement with MCA in April, 1981 to release their product in the secular market while the regular Sparrow issues were distributed to Christian stores and Christian radio stations. The arrangement with MCA lasted until October, 1986, when Sparrow switched distribution to Capitol. Born and raised in the Midwest, Jennifer Lane has performed all over the country - from Miami to L.A., delighting crowds with her soulful earthy vocals and heavy keyboard chops. She began playing under the tutelage of far older and more seasoned blues, r&b, soul, and jazz players - as a teenager in the Kansas City scene. "Sweet Long Cool Drink'a Water," was released on Lunacy Records, January 2002, to rave reviews. Jennifer has called Denver home since '97. She is the resident house artist at Elway's in Cherry Creek.
