THE EDGE EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S MONEY & ME ... ‘Money & Me: Youth Financial Empowerment Programme’ participants are seen here showing off their programme certifi cates at a prize-giving and appreciation ceremony in Subang Jaya, on Oct 13. Money & Me is a free fi nancial literacy programme launched by The Edge Education Foundation and supported by Citi Foundation. It is approved as a co-curricular programme for Form Four students by the education ministry. The programme is carried out in schools with the help of volunteers and students from the following partners: BHP, Citi , Deloitte, EY, GE, INTI International University and Colleges, KLK Oleo, Methodist College , PwC, and the Rotary Clubs of Central Damansara and Sentul. This year about 340 students from 14 schools in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor took part in this six-month programme. Over 400 participants, teachers, volunteers and guests from partner organisations, the education ministry and the Selangor Education Department attended the event. Photo by Haris Hassan
