This book was highly helpful in explaining the 12 Links of Dependent Arising, as depicted in the Wheel of Karma. However, if you're a beginner and new to Buddhism, I highly recommend that you give yourself a few months, until you're really familiar with Buddhist terms and subjects in the Lam Rim before you dive into this read. The first few pictures are heavy with Buddhist philosophy, but this philosphy really creates the framework for the teachings contained in the rest of the book.
