Report Sturgeon County 2019 Municipal Census Report The 2019 municipal census was conducted between April 15 and July 30, 2019. It is the first municipal census conducted since 2008. The goal of the 2019 municipal census was to obtain an accurate count of the County’s population and to obtain demographic data about the residents who call Sturgeon County home.
For the first time, residents were able to complete their census online in addition to the option of providing information to a census worker at their door. An impressive 40% of households chose to complete the census online, demonstrating this as an effective, convenient option for residents.
With this information, County Council and Administration can more effectively plan for the County’s growth.
