Giro d’Italia 100th edition

UAE Team Emirates’ riders were always in the top positions in the final part of the Eschborn-Frankfurt ‘Rund um den Finanzplatz’, World Tour race of 218,7 km. The rain and the cold weather made the race very demanding, however three cyclists from the Emirati team succeeded in realizing interesting performances: the captain Ben Swift (10th at the finish line) and the two young guns who’ll participate in the Giro d’Italia, who are Simone Petilli and Edward Ravasi.

Giorgia Bronzini third in aggressive Tour de Yorkshire race

Wiggle High5 Pro Cycling’s Giorgia Bronzini took third place in the Asda Women’s Tour de Yorkshire, between Tadcaster and Harrogate. The former two-time road World Champion finished second in the small bunch sprint at the end of an aggres\sive, hilly, 122km race, behind American Coryn Rivera (Sunweb), 55 seconds behind winner Lizzie Armitstead (Boels-Dolmans) who was the sole remaining rider from the mid- race breakaway.
