A GRAND CEILIDH! On August 1st a Ceilidh was held at Brook Farm, Eglwys Cross in aid of Hanmer Church. It was a lovely sunny evening and over 80 people attended and danced the night away to the music of a band called Jigsmith. A delicious supper was provided by the Hanmer Church Social Committee and the whole evening was a huge success enjoyed by all who attended. Over £2,000 was raised, which will be used towards paying for the repairs to the roof of Hanmer Church. Thank you very much for the support of people from Bronington, Iscoyd, Tybroughton and Hanmer.
