Launching of the Buccaneer Queen at Marina del Rey earlier this month brings the dream of husband and wife building team Gary and Cori Narvaez another step nearer reality. Begun almost two and a half years ago at a boatyard on Lincoln Blvd., the spare-time and weekend construc­ tion of the 90' hull has probably been the largest project of its kind in this area. Built from Peterson plans, Bucca­ neer Queen is a type of shallow draft schooner widely used in American coastal waters during the early 19th Century.
