CHRONOLOGY OF CULTURAL RELATIONS BETWEEN THE USA AND AZERBAIJAN IN THE AZERBAIJANI PRESS (2009-2012)

Abstract. Azerbaijan's concern for its cultural history and the numerous projects carried out in this area have been further expanded against the background of cultural ties with countries such as the United States. The opening of Azerbaijani culture to the world in the framework of various projects, which is a manifestation of the antiquity of the people, can be considered the success of Azerbaijan's foreign policy. The given chronology coincides with the first period of the Barack Obama administration (2009-2012). President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has won the next presidential election in 2008. The fact is that presidential elections in foreign countries are always interesting. So the focus is on the policy pursued by the new president. Shortly after independence, Azerbaijan has established bilateral and multilateral international relations with a number of States and international organizations. Thus, the efforts of both countries continue to develop bilateral cultural ties. Keywords: cultural, foundation, tourism, Azerbaijan, US, festival

The peculiarities of eastern culture, especially the fact that the Azerbaijani mugam has become the center of attention on a global scale, can be considered an indicator of the ancient cultural history of our country. Cultural ties between Azerbaijan and the United States continue not only on a bilateral basis, but also within the framework of international organizations. Cultural relations can be divided into several groups: carpet weaving and artistry, music, cinema, in short, projects implemented by various organizations that protect art and cultural heritage, etc. Our music, our mugham: On March 20, 2009, “the International Mugham Center hosted the official opening of the International Mugham World Festival.
