Anyone who keeps learning stays young. – Henry Ford

Most of us have an interest that we hope to pursue when life provides more time. However, while life’s demands seem only to broaden, our time seems only to narrow, and it can be easy to miss that only through life’s experiences can we enrich and broaden our lives. Dr. Cates I encourage you to consider broadening your life’s experiences through any of our District 211 Continuing Education courses during the upcoming spring semester. Before deciding whether you are too busy to try a new interest or learn something new, I encourage you to take a look at the range of activities that are available in this catalog.

District 211 offers extraordinary opportunities to enrich our community, and we are both pleased and proud to extend a wide array of learning opportunities to all members of the District 211 community.

During the upcoming semester of our Continuing Education Program, we will continue to offer our most popular courses, some of which include Financial Planning, Woodworking, Basket Weaving, Painting and Jewelry Making. If you scan through the various offerings, you will see that nearly everyone can find a course of interest to enrich life’s experiences. I encourage you to take just a moment to look through the catalog and see if you might find an experience that appeals to you.

If you have a particular skill or knowledge that you could share with others, we are always looking to offer new topics in our Continuing Education Program through our local talent, and I warmly invite you to contact us. Similarly, if you have interest in learning about a particular topic and we do not offer it during the upcoming semester, please take a moment to let us know about additional courses that we could offer in the future.

Let the upcoming spring be your time to try something new!

Sincerely,

Daniel E.
