YEAR IN REVIEW: JULY TO DECEMBER The second half of 2016 remained just as busy for Minot Air Force Base. From multiple distinguished visitors to several military appreciation events, MAFB Airmen work hard year round to get the job done. The Northern Neighbor’s Day air show was held on Minot AFB for the fi rst time in seven years, which hosted more than 10,000 attendees. Minot AFB conducted more exercises in the last six months of the year as well as hosted more distinguished visitors. The annual Prairie Vigilance exercise tested Team Minot’s nuclear and conventional operations. Also, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense visited Minot AFB to see the mission fi rst hand. No matter the challenge, Team Minot works hard and works together to complete the mission.
