NOTICE IS GIVEN that we are applying to the Consistory Court of the diocese for permission to carry out the following:

Thursday, February 20, 2020 3:03 PM Page 1 1 To construct a new accessible toilet and a tea servery in the base of the tower, install underfloor heating in the Nave, move the font forward, remove the screen in the north aisle, replace the nave and north aisle floors and install a new trench arch drainage system 2 Undertake repointing and stone repairs to all elevations of the north aisle with 1:3 lime putty mortar and sharp sand and using matching stone all as specified 3 Above and below ground drainage: set out drains as per drawings and laid to 1:40 falls; bed and surround pipework in min 150mm pea gravel; provide inspection chamber as specified; include construction of trench arch drainage system as detailed 4 Agree new hand dug drainage runs with architect as specified; allow for inspection chamber and 1no new soakaway 5m from any structure 5 Tower Reordering: keep timber screen in place; set out partition walling and move existing electrical distribution board and meters to south wall within accessible WC 6 Form partitions to accessible WC, infill with 75mm semi rigid insulation; form ceilings to WC as specified; construct new timber four pannelled door in Oak; provide sanitaryware as specified and include for all plumbing 7 Construct a range of bespoke base and wall units for kitchen area in PSE Douglas Fir; provide sink unit, under counter refrigerator and Lincat water boiler 8 Flooring Repairs: Lift and rebed uneven flag stones; provide 3 square metres of new Yorkstone between new door and WC 9 Nave and North Aisle Flooring: carefully remove pews and raised platforms and kerbs; pews to be adapted and retained; remove timber screen and reinstate with new fixings; remove existing carpet to nave and north aisle; lift stone/tile flooring to both areas; ledger stones to be incoporated into new layout 10 In the unlikely event of any exposed burial; allow for laying compacted hardcore to all sides finishing 15mm above the highest point; cover with reinforced concrete paving slabs 11 Excavate levels by hand for new floor construction and allow for an archaeological watching brief; new floor to be formed with Tymar sub Lime system as stated; new paving to be Ancaster Blue limestone 450x450, thick laid in diamond bond as per floor plans and bedded & pointed in lime mortar and Ancaster Weatherbed limestone 500x700 thick laid in stretcher bond, bedded and pointed in lime mortar 12 Plaster repairs: low level to nave and north aisle, render in 3 coat lime plaster as per architect's specification 13 Font: carefully remove and relocate to the east end of the Nave as specified 14 Pew works: to 3no pew frontals remove fixings and allow for modification to allow them to stand freely 15 Pews: To 24no pews remove platform fixings and allow for any modifications as required ready for reinstatement after the flooring and heating works 16 Heating: allow for Dimplex wall heater for WC; allow for multipoint water heater for water to toilet and kitchen sinks; arrange for water authority to bring in metered drains cold water supply to two new internal locations as specified 17 Electrical works: design and install in accordance with regulations, type and fittings as per drawings; provide emergency lighting to the tower, fire signage & extract fans 18 Add ceiling and wall lights as shown and allow for internal LED light fittings to be agreed with the PCC; fit new power sockets as stated and smoke detector in kitchen area 19 Prime all sw timber wall cladding and partitions and 1 undercoat and two top coats of eggshell colour Farrow & Ball James White; plastered ceilings 2 coats of emulsion in the same colour 20 Timber screen to have 2 coats of Danish Oil; new kitchen units to be primed, 1 undercoat and two top coats of Eggshell in F&B Teresa's Geen 21 Timber doors to be primed, 1 undercoat and 2 top coats eggshell in F&B Moles Breath 22 All in accordance with Specification and Schedule 9178 dated October 2018 (Rev A); Statement of Need and Statement of Significance & Impact both dated October 2019 and drawings 9178 50-54 from Mr C Andrews, Church Architect
