From: Andrew Rosindell M.P. Member of Parliament for Romford I have studied the submission for the new ward boundaries for the London Borough of Havering, by Havering Council and would like to put on record my support for them, as they clearly restore, as closely as possible. the local communities of Havering and in particular, in my constituency of Romford. Community and historic names are extremely important, such as , and Rush Green and their use as Ward names is very popular with local people. However, speaking as the M.P. for Romford for 18 years and the local Councillor for the Ward for 12 years, may I ask that the name "Havering Park Ward" be changed to "Havering-atte-Bower Ward". Havering-atte-Bower is the historic name for the who of that area and everyone locally will be delighted if the name is restored. Havering Park is merely one of the parks within Havering-atte-Bower, along with Bower Park, and . Havering-atte-Bower is the correct name for the this area of Romford and I may I formally request this name is used for the new Ward under this review. Thank you for your consideration. Thank you. Andrew Rosindell M.P.
