About Us Tewin Bury Farm Hotel is one of the leading wedding venues and leader in corporate events in Hertfordshire. The AA Four Star Hotel is an exquisite fusion of old and new that provides guests with a delightful and luxurious stay. Each of our 29 double rooms is individually designed, with its own colour palette, sumptuous fabrics and stunning, locally made oak furniture. Tewin Bury provides the perfect setting for a wedding or celebration in Hertfordshire, our 17th century farmhouse with its beautifully converted farm buildings is surrounded by idyllic Hertfordshire countryside and waterways. There are four beautiful and unique wedding venues, perfect for the small and inti- mate or a grand reception.

The stunning surroundings of this highly acclaimed venue provide inspirational, riverside set- tings for a variety of business events and functions including conferences, exhibitions and product launches.

Furthermore the award-winning restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents. The speciality of the Chef is modern British food, and he has crafted an imaginative, mouth-watering range of dishes to tempt our residents and visitors.

History of Tewin Bury Farn

Originally a dairy farm, Tewin Bury has been home to the Williams Family, and a herd of dairy cows, since 1931. The land continues to be farmed and is still owned and worked by members of the Williams family. Many of the original buildings have been incorporated in what is now Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.

It was 1980 when, looking at ways to diversify the business, the family sold the dairy herd to purchase some neighbouring farm land. A new farm shop was opened to sell their potatoes and other local produce & four rooms in the family home were advertised as guest rooms, the demand for rooms grew and Tewin Bury Farm Hotel was born Bedroom Tariff & Guest Information Our Bedrooms

Our AA Four Star hotel is an exquisite fusion of old and new that provides guests with a delightful and luxurious stay. Each of our 29 double rooms is individually designed with locally-made oak furniture.

Our bedrooms come in three standards, our Premier Rooms which are our standard rooms, our Superior Rooms which are slightly larger with more original features and our Deluxe Rooms which are our largest rooms some of which also have access to a private patio area. For a family of up to four people, our Duplex Rooms offer the most space and for the romantics amongst you, our Four Poster rooms are perfect for a night away for two.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with powerful showers, and come complete with compli- mentary ritual toiletries. All of our bedrooms are air conditioned for your added comfort.

All of our bedrooms can accommodate a cot, should you wish to hire a cot for your stay, please contact our Hotel reception on 01438 717793 The maximum occupancy for our Premier, Superior and Deluxe rooms is 2 guests. Our Duplex rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests over 2 floors. Additional adults are charged at £29 per night and children (3-12) are charged at £19 per night.

Bedroom Tariff & Guest Information Premier Rooms Individually designed and located in different areas of the farm, these rooms offer total comfort in the most beautiful surroundings. These rooms can be booked as a double or twin and the maximum occupancy for these rooms is 2 people but there is also space for a cot should you require one.

Facilities include: flat screen TV with free-view, desk space, free Wifi, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, ironing board and hairdryer.

Superior Rooms Our Superior rooms all have distinctive characters and shapes and most benefit from a separate shower and bath. Superior rooms are available to book as a double or twin and most superior rooms have a king size bed. The maximum occupancy for these rooms is 2 people but there is also space for a cot should you require one.

Facilities include: flat screen TV with free-view, DVD player, desk space, free Wifi, fridge, tea and coffee maing facilities, original features, bottled water, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Delxue Rooms Deluxe rooms are our most spacious bedrooms and most have a king sized bed. Some offer a private patio area, some have direct access to Tewin Bury Gardens and the others come with magnificent views over the rolling Hertfordshire countryside. The maximum occupancy for these rooms is 2 people but there is also space for a cot should you require one.

Duplex / Family Rooms Duplex rooms are great family rooms with one large bed on the main floor and 2 single beds in the gallery. Alternatively they can be used as twin-bedded rooms with one person on the main floor and one person in the gallery.

Our duplex rooms are ideally suited to families or groups of 4 however some rooms can also take a cot or a roll out bed to accommodate 5 people.

Bedroom Tariff & Guest Information Four Poster Rooms Our Four Poster rooms provide the ultimate romantic setting, perfectly suited for a wedding night, an anniversary celebration or simply to show how much you care.

Four poster rooms are available as a Superior or Deluxe room and all benefit from a separate shower & bath.

Facilities include: flat screen TV with free-view, DVD player, desk space, free Wifi, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, original features, bottled water, iron & ironing board, hairdryer. Accessible rooms Accessible rooms are available as Superior or Deluxe rooms. All have wider space for turning around, wider doors and bathroom alarms. All have wet rooms with a separate shower and bath.

Check in and Check out Check in time is from 1pm, but can be sooner if your room is ready. Our check out time is 10am, later check out times may be available, but will be subject to a fee.

Settling your bedroom account We accept Visa, Mastercard or Amex cards, as well as cash payment for bedroom accounts. All guests will be required to provide a credit or debit card for pre-authorisation at check-in.

To book, please contact our Reception Team on 01438 717793 or email [email protected] Bedroom Tariff & Guest Information Travel Information By Road from the A1 (M) travelling Southbound Exit A1 (M) at junction 6 (signposted Welwyn Garden Ciity) and at the roundabout take the 1st exit (signposted A1000). Stay in the left-hand lane on this dual carriage way and at the next roundabout take 1st exit (straight over) towards Digswell.

After 0.1 miles go straight over mini roundabout, continue for 1 mile (you are now on B1000 Hertford Road) and the Tewin Bury Farm driveway will be on your left-hand side (look out for the hanging sign!)

By Road from the A1 (M) travelling Northbound Exit A1 (M) at junction 6 (signposted Welwyn Garden Ciity) and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted A1000). In 0.3 miles at the next roundabout take 4th exit, past the Roman Baths on the left. Follow under the motorway bridge and at the following roundabout take the 1st exit. At the next roundabout take 1st exit (straight over) towards Digswell.

NB for all of the BY ROAD directions, ignore all signs for Tewin. We are not situated in the village of Tewin.

Williams’ Bar & Restaurant is open all day for food, serving breakfasts, informal lunches and din- ner A La Carte. In the bar or terrace area you can also enjoy morning coffee and afternoon tea.

On Sundays & Bank Holidays we do not offer our A La Carte menu, we serve a traditional Sunday Roast Menu.
